This pasticceria looked very nice from the outside, and the interior was pleasant as well, with lots of cakes and croissants displayed in the window. However, the pastry I tried was a bit average.

I was walking with friends on Via XX Settembre in Genoa and we were craving a sweet treat. They took me to Tagliafico, a historic pastry shop in Genoa that I wasn't familiar with. We went in and it was very crowded; we weren't sure where to stand. A young man with a warm smile greeted us, asked us what we wanted, and, seeing us a bit lost, found us a little spot. He was really kind. We ordered two cappuccinos, two coffees, and some assorted pastries to try. Everything was delicious; the coffees arrived hot, the cappuccinos were creamy and delicious, and the selection of pastries was superb! Aside from his kindness and expertise, he was also very nice! Congratulations!

If you're looking for fine pastry in Genoa, Tagliafico is the place to be. From traditional Ligurian classics to more modern creations, every dessert is a small masterpiece. Super-fresh ingredients and incredible attention to detail. The quality-price ratio is excellent for the quality offered. Highly recommended!

25/02/2026: I've been there twice with my family. The place is small but cozy, the staff is kind and helpful. My daughters also enjoyed the food, especially the trofiette with pesto. Recommended.
