Pasticceria Storica Mercerie In Venezia

We liked the Cannoli al Pistacchio. Nutty shell with sweet cream filling. (filling similar to icing) A little on the sweet side of my preference but still good.

Whether for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or just a quick bite, this charming pastry shop/café has a few tables, a lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff, and delicious pastries and food. It's a great place to try different traditional sweets, all of which are excellent. I recommend a latte here; it's not a regular latte like in Spain, but a very large one, so remember to ask for your size beforehand.

I don’t quite understand why there are so many negative reviews about this place. We ended up there completely by chance for breakfast on our last day in Venice. The café was fairly busy, and the selection of treats was quite good — both sweet and savory options. We went for sweet and savory croissants, a small cannoli, and cappuccinos. The coffee was very tasty. The food might not have been the best you can find in Venice, but it certainly wasn’t bad either.
