I have tried many pastry shops over the years, many famous ones, but Royal's classic Neapolitan pastry shop is incomparable. Every time I let my friends try these sweets, they are thrilled. It has only one flaw: it doesn't have a branch in Vomero! But it's worth traveling a few km...

03/08/2025: In the heart of the Casamale village, a charming little spot with outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying the village atmosphere. Excellent aperitifs (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), or sparkling wines accompanied by appetizers, platters, or delicious schiacciata (flatbread). Be patient on weekends.

Trattoria da peppe

15/06/2025: Today for lunch we went to the trattoria da Peppe where we ate an appetizer for 2 people consisting of: fried polenta, arancini, pasta crescere and crocche'; the quantity was just right and we liked it. Followed by two first courses specifically "Lo scarpariello": good. We concluded with two slices of lemon caprese (very good and genuine) accompanied by an excellent limoncello! Conclusion: I recommend it!
