Pasticceria Purificato In Frascati

The Purizzato Pasticceria in Frascati is a true jewel, one of those businesses that make the area special. Their tarts are simply unique in Italy, they have that authentic and genuine flavor that takes you home at the first bite. And then there is the Neapolitan pastiera... we are not exaggerating in saying that it is truly unique in the world: a perfect balance of aromas, texture and heart. It's been a regular stop for us for years, a place we could never see close – really, we wouldn't know where to go anymore! Excellent desserts to say the least...

I don't usually review but in front of so much excellence it makes me want to spend two minutes praising this historic pastry shop. I've been going there recently, due to work, and I can't wait to stop by and buy something to enjoy after dinner. Sublime, good (and always kind).

I had heard about this pastry shop and finally yesterday, on a rainy Sunday I decided to go with a friend of mine. I was afraid of finding a pastry bar with large spaces and instead, fortunately, I found myself in a small pastry shop because it's in the little things that the best surprises are hidden... I'm a fan of the ricotta and sour cherry tart and I've eaten it everywhere but when I tasted this one from the Purificazione patisserie I realized that there isn't any left for anyone: truly excellent!!! I also tried the ricotta and blackberry version and an apple pie: high levels here too! The guy who served me was kind, friendly and very competent and completed the picture of my excellent experience. Congratulations indeed and see you soon!
