Salerno's long-established and renowned pastry shop is located in the historic center, not far from the Cathedral. High-quality products. Highly recommended.

This pastry shop has something that sets it apart from the others: a flavor from another era. I don't know if the recipes they use are inherited, but I saw some of them years ago. And that's not a bad thing, on the contrary. Because you can also find more "modern" desserts. I recommend the Strega liqueur cake to everyone; it's out of this world. Recommended.

AMAZING CAKES ! My wife and I arrived in beautiful Salerno again for a 6 day vacation. The next day on Fri, March 28th we headed out to do some grocery shopping and pick up a universal plug adaptor for my American Philishave. We walked almost everywhere ( as you do in Salerno ) but grabbed a taxi to take us home....heavy grocery bag. The taxi driver dumped us in a little back street ( more an alley ) and still a decent walk from our apartment on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. AND THEN ! As soon as we exited the taxi we spotted this inviting shop. Inside we had a quiet chat with the female owner about the incredible looking cakes, pastries and hand made chocolates. And we saw the impressive espresso machine. I spotted a super decadent Sachertorte ( the famous Austrian cake ) on display....one of my favs which my wife bakes for me back home. VERY TEMPTING ! However we had plans for a quiet lunch back at our apartment and later on a big dinner date at 8pm that night. I picked up a bottle of spring water. FORGET ABOUT THE CALORIES !

Classica pasticceria di altri tempi. Abbiamo preso le sfogliate ricce sono buonissime e costano solo 2€! Questo posto peró non dispone di tavoli e non fa servizio caffetteria, peró c è un baretto a pochi metri. Altri dolci avevano un aspetto buonissimo. Da provare!

I took two wheat pastries without candied fruit and I was hoping for an excellent product. Instead it was a disappointment.

Excellent cake shop in Salerno’s Centro Storico area. Beautiful decor and displays of the pastries and cakes. Welcoming staff. I got a couple of pastries and they were outstanding!

Today I purposely went to this historic pastry shop to try their famous Mont Blanc. Being Monday I must say that there was quite a shortage of products, the cake display was not well stocked, but luckily there was one last Mont Blanc left on the counter which the clerk kindly suggested I cut if the size was too large. I must say that the cake is fantastic, balanced, very delicate. I will definitely return to try other delicacies.

Estoy de acuerdo con otros en que el personal podría ser más amable, pero estos postres son tan deliciosos! El hombre mayor trabajando parecía un poco impaciente que nos tomamos algunos minutos para decidir sobre nuestras elecciones, pero no había otros clientes allí, así que no estábamos retrasando el negocio. No hay mesas - estrictamente a - ir a lugar. Elegimos tres artículos y los tres eran simplemente maravillosos. Comimos dos de inmediato y no tuvimos el tercero hasta dos días después, y todavía estaba delicioso y no se volvió rancio o seco en absoluto. Los precios eran muy baratos (para los estándares estadounidenses).
