I was looking for a pistachio mousse, but what I received wasn't quite what I expected. There was a red gelatinous coating on top of the dessert, probably a sauce or some sort of jelly, which was overly sweet. This predominant flavor completely covered the taste of the pistachio and the other ingredients of the cake. Overall, the product was fresh and well presented, but the balance of flavors, especially for those looking for an authentic and delicate taste like that of pistachio, could be improved.
