A guarantee! I grew up with their sweets and cakes since I was little, and I have to say it's the number one pastry shop in Rome!

I agree with all the reviews. This is a terrible bakery, with rudeness, arrogance, and poor quality cakes. I ordered a Sacher torte, specifying that someone was allergic to nuts, and asked for a "Happy Birthday" sign. When I picked it up, the sign wasn't there. The worst part was that the allergic person, upon taking the first few bites, realized the cake contained hazelnuts and almonds. This resulted in emergency room visits. Avoid.

Historic neighborhood pastry shop. I'll get straight to the point: the millefeuille is one of the capital's top five, especially the one with wild strawberries and Chantilly cream. Obviously, all the options are excellent, but the millefeuille is exceptional. The quality of the wild strawberries is incredible, with just the right amount of acidity, yet not excessive, complemented by the sweetness of the masterfully executed Chantilly cream, silky and balanced. The assembly of the millefeuille is also excellent, inviting with its generous amount of wild strawberries. The consistency in quality is also commendable: year after year, at least for the millefeuille, the quality is consistent, and this is a crucial aspect that is often becoming problematic in the industry.

What can I say? You absolutely have to try it, you won't be disappointed! Very good. Too bad the staff isn't always the friendliest.

Marinari is a guarantee. Elegant place, wonderful windows. They offer the best cakes in the neighborhood. Unbeatable.
