Let me start by saying I'm from Milan.
I've known this pastry shop since I was a little girl, because my mother was from Alezio, and Lucia's was a smaller place back then, but it was still excellent!
Every year when we come down for vacation, it's a regular stop for us, both when we arrive and for the entire vacation.
Excellent pastries, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a special mention for the guys behind the counter, who are always very active and attentive to the customers!

I arrived at this pastry shop after my sister-in-law delighted me with a tray of pastries she purchased from them. The place is cute, but what I loved most was the kindness and smiles of the employees I interacted with: a short, dark-haired woman with glasses and a tall, thin man with a shaved head. Pastry is a feast for all the senses... an experience your taste buds deserve.
If you need a glycemic boost or a treat, you have to go there. They won't solve your problems, but they certainly provide a sweet moment of peace.

Service Entrepreneurship 101.
A customer reports an inconvenience.
This shouldn't be seen as a nuisance, but as a fantastic opportunity the customer is giving you to resolve the situation and stay with them. The alternative? The customer leaves, never returns, and starts spreading negative feedback to everyone they meet.
A good entrepreneur listens to customers and must be able to discern the costs/benefits of responding haughtily, thinking they're right (maybe, but maybe not).
Perhaps a good entrepreneur should be able to evaluate whether offering a small gift (assuming a misunderstanding, whether or not there was one) can change the situation in their favor and ensure that the customer returns later, just as happy as before thanks to pleasant service.
A good entrepreneur always thinks long-term, never short-term.
The. Good. Entrepreneur.
Where the shortsighted see limitations, the farsighted see opportunities.

All products are excellent and always of the highest quality. The dining room staff is always polite and courteous.
Luckily, Salento is full of other quality businesses.

Yes, the request came from the table, but for the mini version, not the large one (again, for the sake of truth).
This is the misunderstanding I was referring to earlier.
In any case, the discussion is actually sterile and an end in itself when there's no willingness to admit a simple misunderstanding (which would have been enough in person to calm everyone's spirits).
I must admit, however, that the reply features one of the most splendid and elegant sti**is I've ever read, and this, even though it's addressed to me, genuinely makes me smile!!! :D
Because I may be long-winded and subtly (or not) sarcastic, I'm always sincere, and I know a touché when it comes along!

Just across the street from the sea is this pastry shop, which has nothing to complain about in terms of quality: the desserts are delicious and very varied.
The only significant flaw is that the staff treats customers superficially and condescendingly.
Sometimes, whether or not you return to a place depends on these small touches, which are noticed by those who receive the service and pay.

A delicious breakfast in a cozy café!
I've had many breakfasts at this café, alone and with friends, and I've been really satisfied! The place is cozy and well-decorated, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease.
The breakfast was delicious: I ordered an espresso and a berry cheesecake, and I have to say, both were perfect. The espresso was creamy and well-made.
The service was also very friendly and efficient: the staff was smiling and helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
Overall, I can say that this café is a great place to have breakfast and spend some time relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place with a good breakfast selection!
Not to mention the cake service, always punctual and impeccable when I asked for it.

I've been coming to this delightful pastry shop whenever I can, ever since I was in high school in Alezio, and it's still my favorite. They take care of every detail, even the reserved parking for customers, which is truly appreciated! Fair prices, excellent service, and the deliciousness of the desserts is undeniable. I recently even got a quick cake for my mother's birthday (I didn't order it) and everyone loved it. I loved the ice cream filling, and it held up well during transportation in the high temperatures these days. I'm super happy, I recommend it to everyone! 😁🎂
