This historic shop in Cremona has already been perfectly described in every aspect by many reviews. I will just add a suggestion for those who should pass by the pastry shop between the end of October and the beginning of November. Only in this short period of the year can you find delicious biscuits: the "Novembrini" and the "Pizzicati alle mandorle"... do not miss the opportunity to taste them, they are truly exquisite!

I have known this historic pastry shop for several years, and the quality has always been high. I had never bought the mustard. Very good. It has nothing to do with those you buy around. Highly recommended

The best "sbrisolina" I have ever eaten.

We expected much more from this historic pastry shop in the heart of Cremona; we had breakfast there upon our arrival, and we were a little disappointed by the cream brioche - the croissant was very small, the dough was a little stringy and the custard was not very tasty. Maybe we made a wrong choice, even if the croissant for breakfast is a classic and is the basis of pastry making; however, the offer seemed very wide and varied, with various traditional products produced in-house. I reserve a final judgment for next time.

I went to this historic pastry shop for pan Cremona, I'm always looking for typical products when I visit a city, and I couldn't miss it. Historic setting full of charm ruined by staff who to describe as hasty and rude is an understatement. It's really a shame....

Excellent traditional pastry shop

Abbiamo deciso di fare merenda in questa pasticceria per assaggiare il Pan di Cremona. Premetto che ce posto a sedere al piano di sopra ma si tratta di una saletta molto piccola e angusta. Alla richiesta di una porzione di Pan di Cremona ci è stato detto che avevano solo le torte che sono almeno di 4 porzioni per cui siamo stati costretti a prendere una torta intera per poterla assaggiare anche se in realtà gli altri avrebbero preso volentieri altro. Si tratta di una semplicissima torta paradiso ricoperta di cioccolato.

E’ una delle pasticcerie storiche della città. Il locale, piccolino, è sempre pieno di dolci, soprattutto preparati per l’asporto in confezioni souvenir o regalo. Molte delle specialità sono infatti tipiche e sono una ghiotta idea per i turisti che vogliono portarsi un po’ di Cremona a casa, per sé o da regalare. Tra i tanti dolci c’è anche il PanCremona, una specialità addirittura brevettata. Il locale è sempre affollatissimo e il personale super indaffarato, fatto questo che lo fa sembrare a volte un po’ sbrigativo, confuso, disorganizzato. Il ‘segreto’ se volete invece godervi con calma un assaggio di questi dolci è quello di chiedere di accedere alla sala superiore. Al primo piano c’è una saletta molto elegante e caratteristica, con arredo d’epoca, e una tranquillità incredibile: di sotto il locale nel caos, sopra una saletta-bomboniera deserta. In effetti non ci sono evidenti indicazioni della presenza di questa sala e quindi se non la consoci non ci sali. Gentilissimo il personale che asseconda il mio desiderio di assaggiare il PanCremona senza comprarne uno intero che, sebbene disponibile in vari formati, è pur sempre grande per una persona sola. Vengo accontentato con una monoporzione di PanCremona (3.50 euro) che mi viene servita appunto in saletta, con un caffè americano (1.80 euro). Onestamente mi sembra che la notorietà del dolce sia superiore all’effettiva bontà: buono ma nulla di eccezionale. Ed anche il caffè non era speciale: non aveva corpo e personalità, era privo di aroma. La location però vale la sosta.

Wonderful historic pastry shop, located in the center of Cremona with windows displaying authentic works of art from the highest pastry makers. The cakes are fabulous, with great attention to detail and the carnival desserts are exceptional. A true guarantee of quality. The staff always helpful and kind. Congratulations for what they do and how they do it.

I can only express a personal opinion on the nougat, exceptional in many variations
