We paid €7 for two croissants and two macchiatos…€1.80 for a croissant and €1.70 for a macchiato…an exorbitant price for a local bar/pastry shop.

I usually stop for coffee and a croissant, but I've also tried some pastries, which are really good. When I want to treat myself to a good coffee and an amazing (artisanal!) croissant, my first choice is La Piazzetta. The staff is very friendly and always smiling.

Nice pastry shop/bar located along the busy via Facciolati which causes with the continuous passage of cars an evident inconvenience for the tables outside. Excellent coffee and good brioche with discreet and kind service. Average prices.

I frequent the neighborhood and the pastry shop a lot. What can I say, a welcoming and easy-going environment, with kind people who have particular attention and care for the customer and people. A place to meet at the weekend with friends for a rich breakfast! For those looking for a sugary twist, definitely a chocolate parcel. And in the whole area there is the only pastry shop on the street with a dairy-free cake, the caprese is super good!

29/11/2025: Very nice place with a wide selection of natural wines. The staff was inattentive, and no explanation was given about the wines offered.
21/11/2025: Brutally good. The cicchetti are among the best in Padua, excellent spritzes, reservations MUST be made otherwise you're done. Unfortunately, the noise level is high.

21/01/2026: I've been to Gnam Gnam and I have to say it was a wonderful discovery. The gelato is truly top-quality, creamy, and with authentic flavors. You can taste the attention paid to the ingredients. But the real strength is Simon and John. They're super friendly, welcoming, and always have a joke ready. They make you feel at home as soon as you walk in! My compliments, guys: To Simon, who has infinite patience even with the most hesitant customers. To John, who makes scoops of gelato so big we'll soon need a gun license to lift the cone! Keep up the good work, you guys are a force to be reckoned with. If you're looking for excellent gelato and a good laugh, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!
