The famous ricotta and sour cherry cake is good but you must surely be a lover of ricotta which is predominant compared to sour cherries. Nice discovery, the Jewish pizza rich in dried fruit, not heavy when you eat it but when you hold it in your hand and I believe this also influences the price.

Arrived around 11:15 on a Friday. It’s best to get here early as there was a que down the road when I had left also they run out of food later on the day. On a Friday they close early and aren’t open on Saturday engaging Sabbath. One downside they had some burnt ‘pizza’ I wasn’t going to buy it but the old lady went to the back and brought out a freshly baked one that wasn’t burnt and the younger lady started telling her off for it saying they had to sell the burnt ones first… Other than this good experience and lovely food. The shop is very small and no outdoor seating.

Pastry and cookies are excellent here! Long lines for a very small shop. Strongly recommend that you stop here!

Solid! Jewish pizza (cake) is very soft, full of nuts, gel candies, and fruits, ~€5 for a slice. Two ladies run the shop, they’re very nice if you try to speak Italian with them; she said the two most popular dishes are the Jewish pizza and ricotta cake.

Update 2025. It's always a joy to savor these unique flavors again!!! Boccione It is the historic oven of the Limentani family, also known as "Forno Boccione", which has around 2 and a half centuries of history behind it. Mrs. Vilma, the owner, is the custodian of very ancient recipes. it was his grandmother Grazia's great-grandparents who started this business. Five generations who to this day continue to keep the Roman-Jewish confectionery tradition alive:. Here you can taste true "kosher" cuisine, which respects Jewish dietary rules. My grandmother and then my father always came here to get the inevitable bruscolini with a unique flavor due to the way they make them! Then what can I say... not least the almond sweets with cinnamon, the ricotta and sour cherry/or chocolate cake and tart, the Jewish pizza and obviously their panettone, a real delicacy. As a child it was a regular stop here with my grandmother who would take me here to get pasticciotto with sour cherries. Years have passed... and now I love coming back here to pick up the same things that my grandmother made for the whole family. For those who complain about the prices, I would like to point out that all these desserts They require a long process (it's not a bakery!) not to mention the fact that all the ingredients are top quality like the ricotta. If Mrs. Vilma can't find fresh ricotta for her cakes, she doesn't make them and consequently you won't find them. This is to make you understand the honesty and love with which they carry on this tradition.

Historic pastry shop in the heart of the Jewish Ghetto, Il Boccione is an unmissable stop for those who love authentic desserts. The cakes, prepared by hand according to the ancient Jewish tradition, are simply delicious. Simple ingredients, intense flavor and an atmosphere that tells of Rome. Highly recommended.

Pasticceria Andreotti

13/04/2025: Very good for desserts and cakes, discreet environment with tables outside and inside; not particularly sunny service and good breakfast yeasts but with little filling (the dough for the bombs is above average). I will mostly order takeout there (although it's not easy because if they have people they don't answer and don't take orders).
09/02/2025: It is one of the most renowned pastry shops in Rome. Extraordinary cakes and mignons.

15/03/2025: High level place with reasonable prices and helpful and cheerful staff, I ate a plate of fettuccine with sauce, to say very good is an understatement, I will never forget them again, a sublime dish, exquisite, fabulous, exceptional etc. etc. I will never forget them again, I live in Caserta, I will come on purpose to return to this place, try it and you won't regret it
