Highly recommended cafe in the center of town. I tried the pistachio croissant. very good Affordable prices and excellent service. There is plenty of room inside and outside. Unbeatable location. In fact, you can even park in the square.

09/08/2025: A small and dignified restaurant, well-maintained, and welcoming: in short, the heart of Mantuan hospitality. There were ten of us, and everyone was delighted. The chickpea and vegetable croquettes as an appetizer were amazing, along with the leek tarts. Mushroom and sausage risotto, carbonara di Carbonara, pici with Montasio cheese slices... Il Pozzo is a gourmet feast, rustic and generous, averaging €30 per person. They've even elevated the French fries to a level of art!
02/08/2025: Excellent welcome and a very kind and helpful hostess. Excellent food with generous portions - I recommend the carbonara di carbonara, a real treat! Excellent desserts!

01/06/2025: Warning, this place could be addictive (!). An old-fashioned place that respects all the basic principles, excellent raw materials, friendliness and helpfulness, a “home” atmosphere. Congratulations 🏆👏👏👏
17/05/2025: We found this place by chance! We ate tagliatelle with duck ragù, rigatoni with sausage ragù and veal rump, cold cuts. Everything was very good and tasty. Fair prices, kind and helpful staff. I recommend it
