Delicious ice cream cake, half pistachio and half hazelnut. For breakfast, we had the Roman maritozzo, with cream and chocolate and cappuccino. Plus the sweet pastries.

Pasticceria Marrone is the ideal place to savor top-quality desserts. Everything is truly fresh and exceptional. The desserts are handcrafted with top-quality ingredients, without the use of industrial preparations. The maritozzi and Genovesi are especially excellent. The service at the counter is impeccable, characterized by kindness and courtesy. I believe that pastry chef Luciano Marrone, along with his pastry shop, represent excellence in Sicily (and beyond).

A contender for the best cannoli in Sicily in my personal experience. I ordered 40 of these for an event and the guests (Sicilian and otherwise) were thrilled. The cannoli are enormous and exquisite. €3 for a cannoli is equivalent to 2/3 of those I'd get elsewhere. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this pastry shop. I'll be returning to Favara specifically for this one.

18/11/2025: I visited La Giara in Fontanelle and had a truly excellent experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for a relaxing evening. The dishes are prepared with great care: fresh ingredients, balanced portions, and truly harmonious flavors. Special thanks go to Marco, the waiter who looked after us throughout the evening. Professional, kind, and always attentive without ever being intrusive. He was able to recommend the best dishes and made the experience even more enjoyable. Sincere compliments! Highly recommended: I will definitely be back.
26/09/2025: Very elegant place, excellent food, and a very reasonable price. The pizza dough is very easy to digest and the toppings are delicious.
