Personale molto cordiale, prodotti di pasticceria freschissimi e davvero buoni così come il caffè.
Da rivedere forse solo un po’ la pulizia degli ambienti.

Service not up to par with food. The place theoretically accepts meal vouchers, practically not and they are also very unprofessional about it. On the pastry side, good but expensive, and here too the service is rather superficial and unkind.

THE REAL PASTRY SHOP, AND YOU HAVE SAID IT ALL! You don't improvise the pastry art, either you have it or you don't!
The pastas are among the best in all of Florence, taste the real pasta, with little sugar, they melt in your mouth, they are out of this world! And speaking of the world... there is always a full house, they have been working together for decades now, the main reason is that they have maintained the highest quality and quality is, and will always remain, a PRICELESS value!
Chaotic place, but we know this because everyone wants to eat pasta at Gaetano's, so that's fine anyway!

Historic pastry shop with a wide assortment of sweet and savory pastries. Typical Sicilian products such as cannoli, cassata, truly exquisite almond desserts. Also always present is the ArancinA with a capital A! TOP. The current management staff is young and very kind. They also accept meal vouchers for lunch breaks.

What can I say, Gaetano is more of an institution than a bar! The chocolate cremini are exceptional among the desserts and the arancini (or arancine, so as not to harm any sensitivity) among the savory ones, but I recommend trying everything little by little. At least a weekly stop is a must.
