I just went to Gaetano's to get a tray of pastries, spending €38. The pastries are always delicious, but the girl at the cash register, someone who's worked there for years, never says hello! Probably, for some strange reason, she doesn't like me, because I see that other people say hello and even smile at them. To me, not even a hint, not a thank you, nothing! Nothing at my initial hello, nothing at my final hello, nothing at my thank you, nothing! She even avoided looking me in the eye. What's wrong with her?! I understand the likes and dislikes a person can have, but politeness is the foundation. Also because I'm a regular customer, I often go there to get trays, spending a lot, and I'm always polite, always saying hello and thanking them, but this makes me want to never set foot in there again!

They say they make it themselves, I'd say so. We ordered a mortadella sandwich, which was incredible, like everything else on display. The downside is that the place is very noisy and small.

If you want excellence, you have to come here. The selection of sweet and savory breakfast products is wide. There are also vegan options. I tried a cream brioche and it was delicious! It's really hard to find such high quality.

Ho fatto colazione varie volte in questo bar-pasticceria e mi sono sempre trovato bene, il personale davvero gentile, nonostante l'affollamento che ho sempre trovato, e anche piuttosto ben organizzato per non fare aspettare troppo le persone. Le cose che mi sono piaciute meno sono i croissant, meglio gli altri tipi di dolci (sfoglie, saccottini...). Anche le schiacciate non male. Prezzi non eccessivi: 1,40 il dek o l'americano, 1,80 il cappuccio, 1,50 i croissant. Gli spazi sono un po' ristretti, e con l'affollamento costante la colazione non è troppo tranquilla... Possibilità di acquisto tabacchi e biglietti del bus.
