Two "splinters" behind a counter that "presents itself" in its magnificence. Between a smile and a chat, these professionals (this is the correct term for those who wake up every morning and work in contact with the public) seem to read your mind and already know what to offer you. Filled brioches that look like an erupting volcano: Nutella, pistachio, whipped cream, jam, and so on. We let ourselves be guided and pampered by the expert advice of the baristas, who also recommend a millefoglie (a sensory journey to paradise and back!) and a slice of Pan Polenta (Amor Polenta), which takes you back to autumn mornings, when you woke up to the smell of freshly baked cake at grandma's house. In short, after a long time away from the scents and flavors of home, this was what we were truly missing and what gave us, once again, a warm welcome home! P.S.
