Two "splinters" behind a counter that "presents itself" in its magnificence. Between a smile and a chat, these professionals (this is the correct term for those who wake up every morning and work in contact with the public) seem to read your mind and already know what to offer you. Filled brioches that look like an erupting volcano: Nutella, pistachio, whipped cream, jam, and so on. We let ourselves be guided and pampered by the expert advice of the baristas, who also recommend a millefoglie (a sensory journey to paradise and back!) and a slice of Pan Polenta (Amor Polenta), which takes you back to autumn mornings, when you woke up to the smell of freshly baked cake at grandma's house. In short, after a long time away from the scents and flavors of home, this was what we were truly missing and what gave us, once again, a warm welcome home! P.S. The pastry shop is well stocked, including croissants. The products are good quality, but a little too filling for my taste. The bombolone had more cream than dough! 🤪 Friendly staff.

In my opinion, the quality of the pastry has significantly declined. The millefeuille pastries were soggy, the cream donut dough was rubbery, the cream puff pastry was overly sweet... maybe it's summer, they're selling less, and the products weren't the freshest, but in any case, a lapse in professionalism for a once-excellent pastry shop. It's a shame.

Found by pure chance in a suburban area of ​​Terni and it was a sweet surprise. My wife and I had two single portions of Zuppa Inglese and they were sublime, the best we've eaten to date. Congratulations because pastry making is not just sugar, but knowing how to enhance all the ingredients to enhance the flavours.
