One of the few bars in the city center where you can consistently find good service and reasonable prices. A rare thing these days. There should be a black-and-white photo of Humphrey Bogart, which, according to the bartender, was donated by a customer. The photo is beautiful and expressive because, in my opinion, it captures the actor and the reason for his timeless appeal. It’s worth seeing at least once.

29/03/2025: We were in Bari a few days ago enjoying some pizza when a staff member (Samuel) recommended Locanda dell’Elfo—and we’re so glad he did. This cozy little spot had a warm, family feel from the moment we walked in. I had the gnocchi and my wife ordered the cavatelli with seafood—both were absolutely fantastic. The food was fresh, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the wine. It’s a small place, but that just adds to the charm. Not sure if the staff are actually family, but it certainly felt that way in the best possible sense. Highly recommend.

23/02/2025: The place is nice and welcoming and the staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the attention shown especially towards me and another boy, both of whom have celiac disease (they fried the chips separately because the fryer was contaminated). The only problem was that they only had one gluten free bun and being primarily a burger joint I wasn't expecting that. I recommend calling in advance and informing of the number of people with celiac disease present to make sure you are 100% satisfied. However it was a positive experience and the food was very good.
10/12/2024: Pub pub where it's like feeling at home. Quiet atmosphere, warm and clean environment. Professional and polite staff. The owner Tina is a welcoming and helpful person. High quality food and flavour. Very high selection of beers. Recommended for special evenings and relaxation with friends.
