Pasticceria Dondeo In Cremona

I go to this pastry shop every morning for breakfast. The croissants are delicious with any filling (I've personally tried cream/chocolate/jam). If I can make a tiny point, the percentage of jam in the croissants should be increased (but that's just my preference). In my opinion, one of the best pastry shops in Cremona. Highly recommended.

If you love old-fashioned places, where you can breathe the atmosphere of authentic Italy, then Bar Pasticceria Dondeo is an unmissable stop. Located in Via Dante 38 in Cremona, a few steps from the train station, this historic bar – opened in 1925 – is a little treasure for those who appreciate things made with care, passion and tradition. As soon as you enter, the period furniture, mirrors and wood paneling take you back in time. The environment is warm, familiar, with that true flavor that is increasingly rare to find today. The quality can be felt and seen, especially at breakfast: I always have the brioche with homemade orange marmalade, a marvel. It has that perfect hint of bitterness, which balances the sweet without covering it – it has become a certainty for me. But Dondeo is not just brioche: it is also excellent pastry. Cakes, mignon, cannoncini and the famous “africane” are a joy for the palate. The staff is friendly, the prices are fair (coffee costs about €1.10!) and the service is fast, although – it must be said – there is a bit of a wait at peak times, which is understandable for such a beloved place. Ultimately, Dondeo is a place that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a real Italian breakfast, done well, in a historic and authentic setting. Make a note of it: it is worth every single bite and every minute of waiting.

Great staff, they are very kind, polite and friendly, in short very professional. I had a wonderful breakfast, something that hasn't happened to me in a long time. I had some delicious pastries, most likely made that same morning, I also had an excellent ginseng. In terms of quality/price it is excellent. Since I have visited almost all the bars in Cremona, I must say that Dondeo has been the best so far to the point of writing a very positive review. The location of the bar/pastry shop is very beautiful and welcoming especially outside where there is a small garden in the station square. From the outside it doesn't seem like much because you see a simple bar/pastry shop in front of a station and it faces a main road, but it is truly a wonderful bar where even people in wheelchairs can access since there are no steps in the entrance, then there is also a bowl for your pets to drink. Thank you so much to all the staff for making my day better with this breakfast that I hadn't had in a long time.

Historic pastry shop in Cremona. When I have the chance to go there in the city with friends I always take the opportunity to have breakfast there even if most of the time I don't find a table unfortunately. There must be a reason 💪. Good brioche and cappuccino. 💪

Finalmente una pasticceria che ha ancora le paste grandi!!! Veramente ottime , super consigliate quelle con la crema allo zabaione da comare via!!! Consiglio anche per la colazione

Passo ogni mattina per la colazione ,tutto ottimo , mi chiedo chi siano quelli che non trovano buone le offerte di pasticceria e caffetteria ,incredibile Sono due anni che passo e vado anche con amiche a gustare una buona colazione
