I went to Loro and tasted the best vegan croissant I've ever had: homemade, fragrant and light, with a truly well-made pastry. I tried both the Nutella-like chocolate filling and the jam one: both delicious, balanced, and not at all cloying. The soy cappuccino was also excellent, creamy and made just right (not the "sad latte" you get in some bars 😅). Plus, I spoke with the owner: super helpful and passionate. His sons are at the counter, professional, kind, and attentive to all your needs. A worthwhile place: I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I visited this pastry shop a few days ago and I must say I was truly pleasantly surprised by the quality of their products. I tried various Christmas sweets, all of which were delicious! Furthermore, the owner's daughter (a friendly and refined woman) offered me a slice of their artisanal panettone, and I must say it had a truly delicate and pleasant flavor! I will definitely be buying their sweets again because they are truly excellent quality! The owners are definitely known for their kindness and care for their customers! Recommended!!!

I had coffee and almond paste. The dessert was delicious and fresh, and the coffee was good. The staff was kind and welcoming. I recommend it.

19/10/2025: If I could, I'd give it more stars. I called around 1:00 PM to ask if they did home delivery, and they immediately said yes. We decided what to deliver and where. I ate excellent macaroni with provolone cheese, chicken cutlet, and baked potatoes. This is what I ordered. Not only did I find the portions very generous, but Mr. Rossano had the foresight to think of everything; in addition to cutlery, I found fruit, bread, and even a little dessert. Everything was more than appreciated, so much so that I was able to eat both lunch and dinner. Quality, freshness, and deliciousness. An honorable mention also goes to Rossano's courtesy and kindness.
02/09/2025: Authentic and tasty dishes, fresh vegetables and excellent cheeses. The pizza is delicious, soft and made with quality ingredients. Excellent service.

Pizzeria Salerno Centro

30/12/2025: Saturday evening in Salerno, two people. I already knew the place, but as a bar. It was my first time dining there, and I stumbled upon it somewhat by chance. Many pizzerias were crowded, or had long waiting lists. Luckily, "Salerno Centro" welcomed us fairly quickly. The place is quite touristy, and the quality of the ingredients isn't exactly excellent, though it wasn't exactly a disappointment. The trio of croquettes with fondue wasn't bad; you could taste the potatoes, and they were good. The fondue was a bit off, arriving cold, and didn't enhance the dish. The pizzas, well, had a slightly bitter note. I didn't particularly like the dough; I assume—I could be wrong—that it was cooked in an electric oven, rather than the "traditional" wood-fired oven. As for the toppings, let's start with the "pizza crok." The ingredients: potato cream, smoked Agerola provola, artisanal potato sticks, crispy pancetta, and parmesan fondue. The review isn't exactly flattering; I didn't particularly enjoy the pairings. The guanciale was too salty, covering up the entire flavor. Instead of potato sticks, I would have preferred flaky chips. The rest of the ingredients were subdued, leaving no memorable impression. The second pizza, a so-called "parmigiana," left a little more. Here are the ingredients: Pachino tomatoes, Agerola provola, breaded and fried eggplant, Parmigiano Reggiano, and pesto. I found these ingredients much more balanced, the flavors blending well. Hats off to the eggplant; the tomato sauce was excellent. The experience was marred by some of the culinary choices, but especially by the very touristy location: a bar, pizzeria, and who knows what else all rolled into one; which didn't leave much room for the flavors to shine. My final rating is 3 stars. It's a place you wouldn't rank high on your list, but, all things considered, it doesn't leave a completely bitter taste in your mouth.
