Excellent pastry shop, since we've been in Gallipoli on holiday we take the car every morning to have breakfast here, fabulous brioches and unique pasticciotto. Must try.

We were on vacation in Salento and wanted to try a good pasticciotto, since the ones we'd tried at other pastry shops hadn't entirely convinced us. We stopped at Pasticceria De Mitri almost by chance, passing by on our way to the beach, drawn by the photos and reviews. We tried several pasticciottos, and I must say the pastry is truly excellent: fragrant, with an authentic flavor. The cream is also delicious. I can honestly say this is among the best pasticciottos I've eaten in a week's vacation, during which I tried several. So much so, that we returned the next day: the owners are incredibly kind, and you can feel the family-like, welcoming atmosphere; they're always friendly and welcoming. The prices are very fair (a pasticciotto costs only €1.50) and the quality is truly high. I particularly recommend the lemon one, the one with marinara cream, the pistachio one, and the fruttone, which are truly delicious. If you're in Salento, stop by; I highly recommend it.

We arrived at this pastry shop in a small village in the Salento hinterland unpretentious, looking for a quick brioche, and instead we found the best pasticciotto we've ever tasted in four years of vacationing in this beautiful region. The lady at the counter is extremely kind and courteous, and you can watch the preparation process from a small window overlooking the workshop. CLA-MO-RO-SO.

Every time I come back here, it's a joy. The pasticciotti are simply irresistible! I get them every year and jealously take them back to Rome: they've become a tradition, a little ritual of happiness. The staff is always kind, smiling, and helpful; they make you feel at home, even if it's just for a few minutes. Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, the welcome is always the same: warm and authentic. A pastry shop like this deserves nothing but kind words. If you're passing through, you can't miss it. But be warned: the small pasticciotto is addictive!
