Ristorante San Domenico

16/11/2024: Location con vista spettacolare sulla magnifica baia di Pizzo per questo ottimo ristorante gourmet gestito da un giovane e affiatato duo. Il duo è composto dalla preparatissima maitre e sommelier e dall’estroso e simpaticissimo chef. Ottimi accostamenti (gamberi e foie gras, fagioli e sardella) e grande tecnica. Da non perdere. Grande accoglienza e atmosfera amichevole, pur mantenendo elevato standard di servizio.

Having arrived on holiday from Germany, I was looking for a place for a nice lunch that would enhance the true potential of our Mediterranean cuisine and the products that our coast gives us where Chef Bruno respected and amplified to the maximum, respecting the foods without bending to the standards that he other venues grant, making your venue different, i.e. unique. The perfect service, I was lucky enough to be served directly by the Maître with excellent preparation both from the point of view of knowledge of wines and cellars. A savoir-faire not to be underestimated, because many times those who work in Gourmet restaurants think they have arrived but this is not the case, there is also a wonderful care in explaining the food at the table, a lot of attention to detail and delicacy in matching the wine to the needs of the dish that the Chef proposed, which is not easy to clarify considering that the Chef's menu is not standard, it changes every day. "having the good fortune to talk to the Chef at the end of lunch, he explained to me that he likes to work with the fresh products that the morning grants him. Not making his menu banal, and always working with the foods that the season grants him".
