A guest I had at my house for lunch brought a tray of traditional sweets purchased from this pastry shop. Simply delicious.

As soon as you enter, you're treated to a delightful sensory experience: olfactory, because you're intoxicated by the enveloping and delicious, now rare, aroma wafting from the workshop opposite; visual, because the shop, in addition to showcasing excellent products, including the perfectly detailed hearts, also displays magnificent black-and-white photographs that tell the story of the shop as it's passed down from generation to generation; auditory, because it's truly a pleasure to be welcomed so kindly and professionally. Touch and taste are experiences you experience at home: crumbly, fresh, and soft pastries; taste, like all the senses, is certainly personal: for me, it was love at first bite, especially the amaretti. I'm disappointed I couldn't try the biscuits (better order them now, as they're in high demand), but I plan to treat myself to this joy as soon as I can. Excellent value.
