If you're looking for good food, a beautiful location, and excellent service, this is the place to be. We had dinner here. The place is quiet and the location excellent. The service is professional and discreet, never intrusive. The dishes are small masterpieces, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Recommended

We had lunch at another restaurant, and for dinner we'd planned on going to a restaurant where we could have good seafood. There were six of us, but in the end we only had five of us, because the menu was fixed and absolutely unchangeable. When one of us asked if we could have something off the menu, a simple slice of swordfish or grilled squid, we were told that we didn't have swordfish, and even though they did have squid, they couldn't serve it. When I asked for a little more onion in the tuna with the sweet and sour onion, the lady very rudely replied, "I don't know, let's see if the chef agrees." They served us very indifferently. Perhaps because we immediately made it clear to the first lady who approached our table that we weren't there for a full dinner—appetizer, main course, and dessert—but rather to order appetizers and main courses, because we'd eaten a lot at lunch. The second lady, the one who came to take our order, was completely disinterested, not taking the time to offer any advice or suggest dishes. She was direct. "What were you ordering?" The food was good, but the welcome and staff left much to be desired.

Last table for us, delicious food, spectacular sunset, and what can I say about the Montalbano menu? A unique experience. Giovanna

We were there at the end of May. The view was fantastic, and the lights created a special atmosphere at night. The food was top-quality and beautifully prepared. The slow-cooked tuna was delicious, as were the appetizers. But the highlight was the tuna tartare with mango and burrata, simple but the best we had during our week in Sicily. The restaurant is located on the seafront, so it's truly a pleasure to dine here. Personally, what attracted us was the fact that the dishes are inspired by Camilleri's Montalbano novels, so it's a truly enjoyable experience. We were impressed by the quality of the food, which is extraordinary, considering the fair price. The staff was truly courteous and helpful. We definitely recommend it for a quiet, excellent dinner.

A memorable dining experience! We were incredibly lucky to get the last available table at Pappappero—and it was well worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful from the start, making us feel immediately welcomed. We started with a mixed fried fish platter: crispy, light, and flavorful. This was followed by two first courses that won us over: the pasta 'ncasciata, a true explosion of flavors—I would have happily eaten another—and the pasta alla Norma, perfectly balanced. The menu is original and carefully curated, enriched with quotes from Camilleri that evoke the world of Montalbano, adding a touch of local identity and culture. Dessert was a real surprise: a deconstructed cannoli with grated caciocavallo cheese—how original! Fresh ingredients, delicious combinations, and great attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Me apetecía un viaje a Punta Secca para ver la casa de Montalbano y tuve la tentación de probar este lugar para el almuerzo. Mi sueño de comer pescado en la orilla fue arruinado por el clima atroz que comimos en una habitación tipo bodega en su lugar. No es lo mismo pero encantador de todos modos. El personal (¿propietarios? ) no hablaba inglés, pero eso solo añadió a la autenticidad. Preciosa comida casera fresca. Tomamos una pasta de pescado y una copa de vino. Me encantaría volver cuando está soplando menos de un vendaval!

Cena in riva al mare, praticamente sulla battigia. Accanto alla celebra casa del Commissario Montalbano. Cena spettacolare, ingredienti freschi e tipici del luogo. Il tutto a costi non eccessivi.
