Based on my experience at other restaurants in the area, I believe that the quality-to-quantity ratio of the food served does not justify the price, not to mention the service, which left a little to be desired.

Everything we ordered was truly exceptional, incredibly fresh and expertly prepared with the flavors of Cilento. However…you absolutely need to improve your table service timing, because waiting an hour for appetizers to arrive means the method you use from taking the order to the dish arriving is decidedly flawed. I speak with knowledge, having worked in the restaurant industry for several years. Slow food is fine, but this will take away your appetite. 😂
And another thing! If I order a dish (parmigiana) and after the appetizers (so after an hour and a half) you tell me it's out of stock, you're also putting me off ordering anything else, because who knows when it will arrive and… if it will even be available.

My husband and I went for dinner last night. It was a wonderful discovery, with excellent food and welcoming staff. We especially enjoyed the lagane and chickpea dish and the 'mbuttunate anchovies.
I highly recommend going.

We had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant.
Despite arriving during the Palio on August 12th, amidst the crowds and chaos, we received excellent service and a consistently high quality meal.
The value for money is truly exceptional!
Courtesy and kindness are guaranteed.
I called ahead to see if they served vegan dishes, and in the end, I was treated to both an exceptional ciambotta and a generous plate of lagane and chickpeas: everything was strictly handmade.
The simple, traditional Cilento dishes never disappoint, even catering to those like me who don't eat any animal products.
Inclusiveness is essential to me, and I really appreciate it when I find these favorable conditions!
I'm sure that Giovanna, the owner, could accommodate the needs of a customer like me, given enough notice, who seems like a real hassle for other owners!
We'll definitely be back!

Giovanna, the owner, is very kind and welcoming. She cares about making a good impression on the guests she hosts at her restaurant. While on vacation for a week, we discovered Pappacena and were very pleased. It's a charming, simple place. The local food is tasty and high-quality. We didn't have a chance to try the meat because we were so overwhelmed by other very good dishes. If you're in the area, it's a restaurant worth visiting.

Like being at home, customer care seen rarely. Kindness and courtesy at truly high levels, not to mention the quality of the food and raw materials! We ate divinely! Particular attention to me personally who am celiac, they made me find gluten-free bread with which they seasoned the spaghetti together with the crusco pepper. Cilento appetizer with very good products and fabulous ciambotta (always gluten-free)!
