PaninOsteria Enrico e Carmela in Brindisi is a superior street food experience: creative and generous sandwiches, extraordinary ingredients—the sausage and octopus sandwiches are two of the real stars—all at fair prices. The place is well-kept, the atmosphere welcoming, and the owners incredibly kind. Just be careful with the service; on busy nights or for deliveries, wait times can be longer, and the packaging deserves an upgrade. 20/09/2025: Beautiful scenery, ditto the sea. There's no sand, just river sand. Nice structure, but very dated!
09/09/2025: The beach is a paid service (7 euros per sunbed, 25 for two sunbeds and an umbrella). The bar has very limited options. The beach is sandy, with lots of rocks and boulders in the water, so be careful not to slip and injure yourself. I probably won't be back.

02/09/2025: I've been going to this bar since I was 8 years old, when my grandmother took me to the Villa Comunale to play soccer. After that, gelato at this bar became a regular stop, and even today, more than 10 years later, the gelato is still as good as it used to be. Highly recommended.
