We discovered this sandwich shop via Google Maps and it was a delightful surprise. It's a small, family-run place, run by two brothers, offering sandwiches and hearty meat and fish dishes (from fried calamari to swordfish), with the option of adding a wide variety of side dishes. My boyfriend and I were truly impressed: everything was delicious, so much so that I, who usually don't particularly like meat, found it delicious. We ordered three sandwiches plus the pancetta wrapped in spring onion, and every bite was a discovery. The service was impeccable: both the girl at the counter and the owners often came to check if everything was to our liking, always with a smile and great kindness. The prices are more than fair: we ate a lot, drinks included, for only 30 euros. Highly recommended for those who want to try something authentic, genuine, and away from the usual tourist spots in Ortigia. Our only hope is that it stays this way, without losing the quality and family atmosphere that distinguishes it.

I often eat at this seaside spot. The staff is always extremely friendly, they're fast, and above all, the food is always fresh! Even in the winter. I come here often for work and I'm always sure to find good food and a friendly welcome. My favorite is the fried calamari and shrimp. The oil they use is obviously excellent, and the fried food is always light, never heavy. In short, if you want to eat something traditional, by the sea in the beautiful Ortigia, this is definitely a place to keep in mind! Also, consider that it's sunny in the morning, but already at 1:30 PM, it gets shade. Oh, and of course, the price is absolutely affordable. Lately, they've also been doing cocktails!!

A small seaside spot in Ortigia with a splendid view and food. Quality fish and meat, served on a plate or in sandwiches. Generous portions and fast service. You can eat inside or outside. Simple atmosphere and friendly staff. Fair prices. Highly recommended.

We stumbled upon this place by chance after a stroll through the charming streets of Ortigia. We were immediately struck by its simplicity, far from the tourist-crawling chaos: a family-friendly atmosphere offering a wide selection of quality cuisine at reasonable prices, and overlooking the seafront. The staff was courteous and friendly, and the service was excellent. We've been back several times and have tried the mixed fried fish, swordfish, caponata, horse meat...all amazing! A place not to be missed.

You'll say where paradise is, well, our paradise is right there with our friends who every year in Ortigia delight our palates and pamper our hearts with their empathy, kindness, and affection. The food is nothing short of exceptional, from swordfish, fried fish, sausage, and super sandwiches—all dishes cooked with love, something I've only seen there... because there's love for cooking and for the family they all represent.
