Panigacci In Capoliveri

Excellent food in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. During our stay on Elba, we chose Panigacci almost every night. Their specialty is panigacci, both boiled and cooked. These are not local to the island, but rather from Lunigiana, but have a special flavor on Elba. The octopus, fried fish, and grilled meats are excellent. The bill is the final highlight of a pleasant evening.

A wonderful experience. Watching the chef bake the panigacci in the large oven in the garden, and then tasting them while they're still hot... We also recommend the squid ink risotto and the purple potato gnocchi with scampi and pistachios. Friendly staff and a relaxing location.

We've been here for four days. We've always eaten out, but nowhere is it as good as here. The prices are fair for the amount and quality of food! P.S.: The cod tart as an appetizer is superb! The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended.

A super nice, simple restaurant with delicious food and competent service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who doesn't necessarily have to eat on the beach. Local produce with excellent flavor. Absolutely great value for money!

Excellent experience; we loved the panigacci, both boiled and baked. Definitely a must-try! The kids had the tagliatelle with Chianina ragù, excellent and a generous portion. UPDATE JULY 2025 I can only confirm my review from 2 years ago. We enjoyed both the panigacci and the wonderful Elba-style octopus. One of the few restaurants in the Porto Azzurro area with excellent value. We went back twice in one week!

We visited this rustic restaurant on June 30, 2025 (2 adults + 1 large dog). The service was very attentive and friendly, and the restaurant is rustic and cozy. The food (steak and grilled fish) was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Questo ristorante, si trova sulla strada che collega Porto Azzurro a Lacona in località Valdana. Il locale è a conduzione familiare ed è gestito da una famiglia lunigianese e da qui deriva proprio il nome Panigacci, piatto tipico di quella zona, propone piatti a base di carne e pesce freschissimo, e soprattutto panigacci cotti come tradizione nei testi di terracotta al fuoco. La cosa importante ma non da sottovalutare è come vengono trattate le materie prime, direi in maniera egregia. Le porzioni sono abbondanti,  Il cuoco Alessandro è davvero bravo nel sul mestiere. Il personale è molto cortese, disponibile e professionale verso il cliente. Per non parlare del servizio che è rapido. L'ambiente è molto caratteristico e curato nei dettagli. Il ristorante è immerso nel verde e dispone di grande parcheggio, proprio lì davanti. Nell'insieme buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerò sicuramente.
