This restaurant is located on the road between Porto Azzurro and Lacona, in the Valdana area. It's family-run and run by a family from Lunigiana, hence the name Panigacci, a typical dish from the area. It offers fresh meat and fish dishes, and especially panigacci, traditionally cooked in terracotta fire-baked dishes. The important thing, but not to be underestimated, is how the ingredients are handled, which I'd say is excellent. The portions are generous, and the chef, Alessandro, is truly skilled at his craft. The staff is very courteous, helpful, and professional. Not to mention the prompt service. The atmosphere is very quaint and meticulously maintained. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery and has ample parking right in front. Overall, it's a good value. I'll definitely be back.

For me, one of the two best meals I had on the island of Elba, it's just a shame that they only serve food from 12:00 to 14:00. Pleasant homemade food and atmosphere.

The "panigacci" is a dish from a different area, but perfectly in keeping with its Podenzana (MS) origins. Definitely worth trying with pesto and mushroom sauce. Excellent with cured meats and soft cheeses.

A rustic restaurant with a cozy outdoor area. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. We just wanted a quick bite to eat, and the menu far exceeded our expectations.
