I discovered it through social media, and since I'm an iris enthusiast, I went to try one with ricotta.
It was large and had a good overall flavor, although it was quite heavy to digest (I only ate half).
The small decorative razor clam on top was a bit soft (perhaps because it had been there for a while), which detracted from the overall result.
Overall, I expected something better.

Intrigued by the advertising on social media,
We went to try some products.
The deli was good but not exceptionally good.
Some items had few ingredients.
We also had the milk cream favor, but I prefer the cannoli.
One thing that needs addressing is the unfriendly counter staff.
Since the ingredients were missing, every response to our questions felt like they were doing us a favor.
The desire and innovation that the Zappulla brothers put into their work deserves more attention from the employees.

I went specifically for the Copper of Naples and the "bomboniere", copper of Naples without infamy and without praise (a bit anonymous) for the much advertised "bomboniere" I went at 9 they told me not before 09:30, oh well I'll try again

Frankly, given the hype on social media, I expected a better deli. Exaggerating the bechamel sauce doesn't mean it's good! The puff pastry was greasy. I wouldn't go back.

I traveled 40 km to try the (now) famous "bomboniera" from Panificio Zappulla, which I discovered via TikTok.
What can I say... wow! Cocoa dough, soft and spongy, filled with the fabulous milk and Dubai chocolate cream (pictured).
I also tried a ricotta iris, a pangocciole, and two Pan di Stelle and Kinder Bueno-flavored ramekins. All exceptional!
As for the savory treats, the sausage rustici at the cash register were delicious. On the other hand, I didn't much like the pistachio cream inside the snack bar: its flavor was vague and slightly bitter.
The place is small but clean and offers a wide selection, from the sweet and savory counter to the fresh bread and dessert counter.
