Panificio Semenzato In Venezia

I bought our breakfast baked goods here during our short break and was delighted. I especially loved the pane arabo with olives. The ladies working there were very patient and friendly. I wish we had such a great bakery at home...

Simple and delicious. Just like when we tried it by chance a while ago. It's more of a place for locals to eat.

The cannoli were divine. They were priced at €1.50, so we bought two. When we paid, they shouted at us, "€4." We asked if it wasn't €3, and they gave us a rude look. Unfriendly staff.

Great bakery with a very good selection of treats.

This has got to be the best bread in Venice. If you're staying close by, you've got to try the bread and sweets. Conveniently next door to a coffee shop, you won't be disappointed. We bought bread and cakes/pastries every day. The bread reminds me of how my grandmother baked it. They do close for lunch. It's about 1pm, but do reopen. The staff are super friendly.

Truly delicious! I always come here for pizza, focaccia, and desserts. It's one of the best bakeries in Venice, if not the best! The staff is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The sweet rolls, sfogliatelle, schiacciata with cherry tomatoes and olives, and pizza are excellent.
