While visiting the Marsican Brown Bear Museum, we stopped at Panificio Sandra. It was a delightful discovery. Amazing bread, focaccia, and pizza at super reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

I was expecting the usual bakery, but I was amazed. The place was spotless, the staff were extremely kind and professional, and the display case was full of pastries and many types of bread. They also offer takeaway options of all kinds. It's a must-try, gourmet boutique. Excellent.

Sandra's bakery is a tradition for us every time I visit Palena. All kinds of deliciousness that bring back happy memories. Bread, pastries, cakes, and tarts, plus fresh pasta, and delicatessen items featuring traditional products. What can I say? Heartfelt memories that satisfy the palate. I recommend stopping by for anyone hiking or just passing through. Excellent value!

10/01/2026: A pizzeria with so much more to enjoy on the menu. The pizzas are plentiful, all well-topped, and thin, like Roman-style pizza. The burgers are made with rolls baked in-house in the pizza oven, and they're large and well-topped. The excellent charcoal-grilled arrosticini, if you go on Thursdays, will only cost you 0.70 cents. Fried pizzas, cold cuts platters... Tripe!!! Fair prices and a friendly owner make everything enjoyable.
04/11/2025: I had to stay in Ripa Teatina for work and luckily found this restaurant next to the church. Excellent food and affordable. The appetizer is exceptional, definitely worth trying (the tripe was amazing), and the pizzas are good, also available for takeout. The waiter is available for any need and very welcoming. It's worth noting that it's located across from the Rocky Marciano statue.
