Third week of September, four adults, no reservations. There wasn't a place open for lunch. On the recommendation of another nearby place that only served "dinner," we stopped at Panificio San Giuseppe for lunch. We received an incredible welcome; we were amazed by how the owner presented his dishes; we savored them just by reading them. Our expectations were not disappointed; the dishes were incredible. Traditional dishes revisited by the owner, who managed to maintain the "classic" flavors with a modern twist. The result was astonishing. While we waited for our dishes to arrive, he entertained us with traditional Cianciana appetizers, which only served to prepare our palates for what we later ate. Highly recommended; when we return to Cianciana, we'll definitely be back! PS: We bought some delicious bread, which stayed soft and tasty for days... in hindsight, we would have gained a few more pounds! ;-)
