My favorite bakery in Matera, tradition meeting the modern approach. We did a bread experience with a group from Canada and USA, it helps to understand better the story of Matera. Love to see 2 woman/2 sisters, Patrizia e Sabrina running this bakery, it is refreshing. My favorite is the focaccia with sausage, peperone crusco, cime di rapa and the bread of course. Focaccia and Bread worthy of Matera, the room where you can eat their focaccia is fantastic

It is a must stop to have local pastries cooked at premises. You can see the oven at the back of the store. I got some filled qith chocolate, berries and apricot
