I went to this bakery with my daughter for a workshop on Matera bread. The welcome was excellent and the workshop was engaging and interesting: Patrizia told us the history of bread and its particular shape but not only that, she spoke to us about the culture and habits of the people of Matera demonstrating competence on the topic and love and knowledge of his land. What about bread and other baked products? A delight for the palate. Highly recommended experience therefore, and we ourselves hope to return.

I only tried the focaccia with tomatoes, which they heated up for me. It was very good. They also sell many interesting cookies and other baked goods. The service was also great and the lady who helped us was attentive and polite.

A bakery with traditions. The best focaccia in Matera. We also bought some great chocolate cookies. The bread looked fantastic, but we couldn't try it. Very nice gentleman behind the counter. You must try it while in Matera.
