A Burano shopkeeper recommended this bakery. I was suspicious because they usually recommend it to me through friends, but I have to admit, I was blown away! I purchased the island's classics, the S and Bussolà: out of this world! Don't be put off by the price, because the quality this time is way off the charts! When I get home, I'll take a good look at the website, too!

22/10/2025: Definitely one of the best restaurants in Sottomarina. The food was excellent, and the service was truly excellent (I assume from the owner), so it deserves 5 stars. I gave 4 stars to the atmosphere (even though it's very clean and charming) only because I like eating outside (especially in the summer), and unfortunately there's no outdoor seating. That's more than fair considering the quality of the food and wines. Congratulations!

Pizzeria Trattoria alle Lanternine

12/10/2025: Excellent, refined dishes include spaghetti with squid ink and anchovies creamed with onion, served with pieces of baked polenta. Excellent prosecco by the glass. A secluded and intimate setting.
12/10/2025: Very pleasant terrace, excellent service and delicious food, especially the pizzas (the best we've tried in Venice).
