My girlfriend and I are from Rome and last week we stayed in Taranto for a week. We stopped at his house in the mornings and evenings to have dinner because we had a holiday home near the bakery. Panificio piccolo e molto affollato in centro a Taranto. Dai panzerotti classici a quelli ripieni (provato quello con stracciatella, polpette della nonna e melenzane), le focacce ripiene e le pucce tarantine. Prezzi corretti, ingredienti di prima qualità.

La Barchetta Fish Bar

22/08/2024: We went with mum on an August evening. You don't book in advance but you show up and the lady at the entrance welcomes you and explains how it works. We waited for the right thing! Sandwich called "Mirante" delicious and equally good mixed fried food. We will definitely see each other again!
21/08/2024: Characteristic place that lets you breathe sea and summer air. Wide variety of fish sandwiches, fries etc. They don't accept table reservations and you often have to wait in long lines to get a table. In August about 40 minutes from when you give the name to when we sit down, but in the end it's worth the wait. Even though the place was very crowded, we didn't have to wait long for the bell to ring to indicate that we should go and get our orders. The food was good, everything, in my opinion the prices were a little too high. 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks and 1 portion of chips around €40..
