It's a shame there are only 5 stars, it deserves much more, not only for the bread which is spectacular, but for the kindness, friendliness and know-how. I give 10 stars to the owner and the boy at the counter (at least I think he is the owner) who was incredibly kind, I told him that due to various commitments it had been a long time since I went to get bread, but that morning I got up with the obsession of going to eat bread in Scopello, Thank you also for the very welcome gift, the cassatella is too good, everything is top notch with you, congratulations again, I hope to come and visit you soon

Let's say it was good... unfortunately I was there on April 25th... waiting for more than 1 hour... the bread made in a hurry with 2 small pieces of anchovy... I asked for it and they apologized by giving me a nice tray full of it

It’s worth a visit speciality is sandwiches & sfincione (bread with tomato). It’s a bakery first a cafe second. The toilet is fine for men, but a bit basic for my partners liking. The people were pleasant enough but not friendly. The food was good. Worth the trip.

When we happen to take a trip out of town and pass through Scopello, this place is our fixed stop for a snack. It is a small bakery that makes cunzato bread, sfincione, arancine, panelle, cassatelle etc... All the products are high quality and simply delicious. Prices are modest. Be careful during high season, there are endless queues to eat here.

We visited this place in March 2025, and it felt like the perfect mix of a café, restaurant, and bakery. We tried the Pani Cunzato—essentially a rustic cheese and tomato sandwich—and the Sfincione, a traditional Sicilian flatbread. Both were delicious! And the service was excellent!. We were served by a lovely, warm-hearted, very courteous lady who, we were told, has been running the place for over 50 years!

What can I say! The smell of good bread and good food is unmistakable! Mandatory stop for a state-of-the-art 'cunzato bread'. Excellent! Crispy, hot and well seasoned in every bite with excellent quality ingredients! From allorigano oil!

Service is good but unfortunately the Pane Cunzatu lacked a lot of flavour. Not enough cheese or seasoning. Another patron we were talking with outside agreed. Arancino lukewarm and risotto overcooked. Not a pleasure to eat. We felt we had wasted our money. Old plastic seating outside. Cannot recommend sorry, we won’t be back.
