Sant’Antioco, Panificio Calabrò blends tradition and modern flair. The bakery, dating back to 1909, offers a wide selection of artisanal breads made with sourdough and organic flours, alongside a weekly-changing menu inspired by Sardinian cuisine.
🍞 We had only a coffee with a pastry. The pastry has been good and the coffee as well. We have had a table outside and enjoyed the time under the trees and the shade they are offering.

Everything is very tasty and the pastries are delicious. The Swiss croissant, with chocolate pieces inside, is worth highlighting.

From the name, we thought we were in front of a simple bakery; from the outside, it looked like a cafe with a nice outdoor terrace. Inside, we were pleasantly surprised: a beautiful, clean place, well-stocked with slow food products, typical Sardinian delicacies, including sweets, savory treats, various fillings, wines, and liqueurs. We tried the fried culurgiones: a different dish from the classic ones made with tomato sauce, but delicious. Good wine. Their bread... exceptional! The service was friendly and welcoming. If you don't like what's pre-prepared behind the display counter, they recommend freshly prepared fillings. The tapestry inside the shop is spectacular.
