Bombastic food. Perfect for walking down the coast.

Since a friend of mine introduced me to this place six years ago, I've never had a spleen sandwich anywhere else. €3 for half a loaf. There's no other place in Palermo with this quality and quantity. It's a place for "true Palermitans." It deserves more visibility. The owner and her children who help her are wonderful and polite people. It's a pleasure to go and eat a sandwich at "La Buca della Salvazione."
