On the main road to the Formazza Valley, in the hamlet of San Rocco di Premia, lies this special pub. This establishment has made the decision to offer completely gluten-free food, so all its dishes are gluten-free, some even vegetarian. For celiacs, it's a kind of oasis of happiness; they can order everything, I believe only the beers are gluten-free (in addition to the gluten-free ones). Some of the food pairings are unusual; there's always a soup, risotto, and homemade gluten-free gnocchi. The atmosphere is quite rustic, and the outdoor bathroom in the summer doesn't help. I recommend booking ahead, even the day before during peak season, as they often get fully booked for lunch until generally 3:00 PM.

A small pub-style establishment on the road to Riale. The menu is excellent and features sophisticated specialties. The chef is approachable, welcoming, and very skilled. The beers are good, as are the desserts. The dishes are served on unique, individually decorated porcelain plates.

A small, intimate restaurant with a "mountain house" atmosphere. You're greeted very kindly by the chef (owner?). The menu is very unique and also caters to celiacs, dairy intolerant people, and vegetarians. There's also a meat selection. I personally enjoyed two excellent dishes. I also appreciated the unusual choice of tableware: some porcelain, some ceramic, "antique" pieces, so they don't match, but they worked very well together with that tasteful, retro touch...
