We went here for the first time a few days ago. I have to say, the food was very good. But the service almost ruined the whole experience, it was too slow. We will definitely be back for the food, but in the hope that next time the service will be a little faster. Maybe it was an isolated case. PS. Stuffed pasta is a masterpiece!

After many years we returned to Pane e Mare and ate well even if there wasn't much choice, especially regarding fish. The price is a little high but we recommend it.

Tutti i piatti di buona fattura, nessuno eccezionale. Buona qualità, mai ottima. Prezzi alti, come ci si aspetta quando si mangia del buon pesce, ma in questo caso non commisurati a quanto proposto. Il crudo di pesce da 35 euro comprende 3 tartare, 2 ostriche, 2 gamberi rossi, uno scampo, un mini carpaccio e stop. In altri posti di simile livello, con lo stesso prezzo propongono anche cannolicchi, conchiglie varie e sashimi di salmone e tonno, a quel prezzo è il minimo sindacale che ci si aspetti. L'antipasto caldo misto da 25 euro comprende 2 cannolicchi gratinati, uno spiedino con 3 gamberi, poca insalata di mare, 5 sardine con cipolle caramellate. Tutto buono, ma anche in questo caso visto il prezzo ti aspetti qualcosa in più. Linguine con astice, con mezzo astice da 28 euro in generale un piatto che si lascia mangiare bene, ma con delle mancanze che un primo con un prezzo così importante non può avere: sugo molto acquoso, niente pezzi di astice nel sugo, che ha si il sapore dell'astice, ma appena accennato, mezzo astice molto piccolo con poca spinta di sapore. Ravioli ripieni di persico da 20 euro sono la nota veramente positiva: piatto originale e molto ben riuscito al giusto prezzo. Dolci nella media a 7 euro cad. Il consiglio ai proprietari è di cercare di fare il salto di qualità adeguando la proposta ai prezzi richiesti, o altrimenti abbassare i prezzi adeguandoli a quanto proposto, entrambe le opzioni mi spingerebbero a tornare. 3 pallini e mezzo su 5 il mio personalissimo voto.

I have always found this place welcoming, with friendly staff and good food. The redevelopment of the building and the arrangement of the hedge around the outdoor area have improved the experience. In the evening it is easy to find parking nearby.

Torniamo spesso qui per l’atmosfera accogliente e romantica, per la gentilezza e simpatia del personale, per la freschezza del pesce. Il crudo resta il nostro preferito. Complice il gran caldo abbiamo ordinato poi degli antipasti freddi. “Voglia di gamberi” era molto fresco e particolare, ottima la qualità dei gamberi! Sempre approvato e apprezzato!
