06/07/2025: We were on the road, and as always we relied on reviews, to find a place to have lunch, which fulfilled expectations beyond expectations. We were welcomed very kindly, even though we had not booked, but I recommend it, especially if you want to stop outside, where there are not many tables, today mostly occupied, but they found a place, and the temperature was ideal. Taking a tour inside instead the environment was not air conditioned, so much warmer. The place is not flashy but simple, and clean. The menu included the possibility of first and second courses to choose from, with more options, or a complete menu, the one we chose. We ate very well! Carefully prepared and tasty dishes, with refined, particular combinations, especially the fettuccine cream cheese mint and lemon, delicious and fresh. No less the nettle gnocchi with smoked ricotta and tomato. The two second courses of meat, both pork and turkey, very soft, delicate, as a side dish, salad and peperonata. Right portions. Two good glasses of local wines, chosen from the red list, particular, here I would have preferred it cooler, but it's a personal taste. To finish a dessert, mascarpone ice cream, much appreciated, not too sweet, fresh, with peaches and crumble. Water and coffee included, in the menu, wine, liqueur and desserts separately, all for €44... I would say very honest! We were served without waiting long, the very nice waitress looked after us, advised, between a chat and a joke, we felt in a friendly environment. We also met the father, chef and owner, who came to make sure everything had gone well, with whom we started chatting.
Small negative note, some plates, bowls were chipped, I would avoid using them to serve at the tables, given how you take care of the presentation of your dishes. What can I say if you are in the area, it's worth it, stop by. We will return to try the main dish, the cod. 🤗 Good night.
