Panarello In Genova

Excellent place with typical pastries. Kind staff.

Panarello is chosen as a certainty of the quality of what, as far as I'm concerned, you drink and, above all, eat for breakfast. From August 2024 cappuccino + croissant will cost €3.30, an acceptable increase. Similar prices around, but lower quality. It often happens that people occupy tables to wait for others to arrive: incorrect behaviour, especially considering the scarcity of seats.

The kindness of the staff and excellent panarella, I recommend them.

Yesterday morning I went to this store to purchase eight "panarellini". Once the packaging was finished, the clerk who served me asked me how I would pay; I replied with paper. The employee told me that the telephone line had been interrupted for some time and they only received cash for payment. I believe that if the line has been interrupted "for some time", the good merchant, in order to meet the needs of the customers, must promptly request a technical intervention and, at the same time, has the duty to inform the customers of the technical problem. There was no sign in this shop. My expense amounted to €21.60. At that point I checked my liquidity and it was 20.70. I asked the employee if this amount would be sufficient, committing myself to pay the difference as soon as possible, but he replied in the negative and pointed out to me in an unpolite way that there is an ATM further along in Via Caprera. I left really saddened. Finding kind staff is perhaps really difficult, especially if they don't own the business....

It's good but very expensive unfortunately. I got a kranzino the size of a croissant for more than 3 euros. They continue to increase, and the poor unfortunate dependents can no longer buy lightly. But no problem, just don't go there anymore and cook at home :)

Excellent for both breakfast and take-away pastries. The strawberry tart, ordered for my son's birthday, was still very good yesterday.
