Really Good Pizza... I'm adding a star to the other 5 (this is the review I wrote 5 years ago). This evening, I'm so disappointed that I have to update it. I've been a customer of Palazzo Vialdo for many years and have always eaten well, so much so that I've always recommended it to friends and acquaintances. This evening, however, the disappointment was enormous and ruined my evening. When I got to the restaurant, I asked the waitress if it was possible to have a sausage and broccoli pizza. The waitress told us there were no problems, so we ordered a sausage and broccoli and a primavera pizza. Shortly after, the waitress came to the table and said it wasn't possible to have the sausage and broccoli pizza (I couldn't figure out why), so I had to change my order and order a Bufalina pizza. The pizzas were, as always, good and of excellent quality. After paying, we left, but once we got home, I looked at the receipt and saw that a €5 surcharge had been added for a cartwheel pizza. This really threw me for a loop. I'm Neapolitan and a huge pizza eater who eats everywhere, and I've NEVER EVER had to pay a surcharge. I should add that the waitress didn't tell me about the surcharge, and if there was a surcharge, I should have been able to order the sausage and broccoli rabe. Ruined evening. I will no longer be your customer. Have a good evening. I'm attaching the receipt for clarity.

This place is a guarantee, and there's little more to say. Impeccable service, cleanliness, and the quality of the ingredients are their calling card. The pizza is spectacular; however, to satisfy my daughter's cravings during our last visit, we opted for spaghetti with lupini beans and fried shrimp and calamari. Everything was delicious, well prepared and presented, and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.

Terrible value for money I took a Swiss friend and her son to lunch at Palazzo Vialdo because I had a good memory of it, albeit a dated one. I thought I'd make a good impression, but beyond the aesthetics, I'd say she wasn't impressed. We ordered roasted peppers as an appetizer, but they only delivered pickled peppers, while the pasta frittata was sour. Her son ordered a cheeseburger, which we had to send back to be reheated because it arrived so cold that the cheddar was practically solid. His seafood fusilli had a hair on it, but it was fixed after just a couple of forkfuls. When we pointed this out, they offered us dessert as an apology, but we only accepted a coffee; she had lost her appetite. My tuna was not bad. €94 was a completely inadequate bill.

The food was average, nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, the service was terrible, with an absolutely unjustified wait given the small number of tables. There was also an additional wait to pay the bill because the staff couldn't issue an invoice or check the customer's details. ABSURD!

I wanted to share an unpleasant experience that happened to me twice. No complaints about the pizza or fried foods, everything was excellent. The problem concerns POS payments. I visited this place on a weekday, so it wasn't very busy, and when it came time to pay the bill, the POS refused the transaction. I should point out that the accounts were completely covered, especially since it happened the first time with my husband's card and the second time with my father's. I'm not saying the terminals are being disconnected intentionally, but it's a bit ambiguous, especially since the incidents occurred two years apart and at the beginning of the week. If I hadn't had cash, would they have made me leave without paying???

02/12/2025: PIZZA SPECTACULAR... I came in with my dad on the advice of a guy from a nearby bar, who recommended the best pizza in the area... and he was right, but let's take it one step at a time! The sign is bright and well-displayed. Coming from the crossroads on the right, the terrace is closed due to rain, bad weather, and the season. We enter and immediately find the cash register on the left and the pizza chef on the right. IT LOOKED LIKE A TAKE-OUT ONLY... IT LOOKED LIKE THAT. I notice the inside dining room on the opposite side of the entrance... a spectacle, with upholstered chairs, an elegant setting, and semi-gloss spatula-finished walls... elegant chandeliers, in short, a refined and impressive atmosphere! We were coming off a long aperitivo, where we nibbled generously, so the other guest (my dad) wasn't very hungry and decided not to eat—a real shame!! For drinks, we order draft beer, a very respectable local craft beer (unfortunately, I don't remember the name), drinkable, lager, and delicious! I chose the Fior d'zucchini pizza if I'm not mistaken; it was a spectacle of flavors. The zucchini flowers speak for themselves, accompanied by a buffalo burrata that was out of this world, pepper, mozzarella, and a scamorza cheese in the center that was truly a pleasure for the palate! The pizza has a high crust, so classic Neapolitan, and is soft as a cloud. On top of all that, the pizza is truly generous in size. To recap, the place is truly beautiful, the pizza is well-topped and expertly decorated, and the prices are reasonable. THIS WAS ACCOMPANIED, AND I'M LEAVING THIS FOR LAST, by quality table service and remarkable experience, customer care, helpfulness, and remarkable courtesy. On top of that, we asked to try something local, and we were also satisfied with that: a nocino and herb liqueur, not for princesses given its high alcohol content. 03/11/2025: Welcoming! Smiling! Good product! A charming, authentic spot in a touristy area. Fair price. Nothing to report.
20/10/2025: A pleasantly dated place where I've stopped on several occasions. To quote chef Bruno Barbieri, the food served is "greasy, just the way I like it" (referring to the pizza). The staff is friendly and helpful.
