Definitely worth a visit. At the beginning we were a bit irritated because we only wanted to visit the Palazzo Rosso and found out at the ticket office that there is no single ticket for the Palazzo, but only a combined ticket for three palazzi (Rosso, Bianco and Tursi). Since we were already late that day and the palazzi had to be visited in one day, we came back the next day and didn't regret it. The Palazzo Rosso is full of surprises: picture gallery, small, magically furnished rooms, the former apartments of the owners and the museum director invite you to discover them. Our absolute highlight was the very last room in the Tursi Museum (which we almost missed). Paganini's original violin is kept there.

One of the recommended check-in attractions. There is a security guard standing at the door. You can go directly inside to take photos and check in, or you can go up to the second floor to browse. This historic building has now become a conference space that can be rented for events and forums, so it is a very interesting architectural space!

Palazzo Rosso was a real surprise! I didn't expect to be so impressed. As soon as I entered, I felt catapulted back in time, among magnificent frescoes and sumptuous furnishings. It's like visiting a still inhabited noble house, not a cold and impersonal museum. The rooms are each more beautiful than the other, and the collection of paintings is impressive. Even though I am not an art expert, I really appreciated the works of Van Dyck and Veronese. And then, seeing Paganini's violins up close was a unique emotion! A tip: take the time to go up to the panoramic terrace. The view of the city is breathtaking and worth it. In short, if you want to live an unforgettable experience, Palazzo Rosso is a must. You will leave with eyes full of beauty and the feeling of having taken a journey through history.

Advised ! . The ticket includes three museums (red palace, white palace and tursi). The route is well structured and the works on display are many and of inestimable artistic value. The cost is negligible given the treasures present. Very kind staff.

The Red Palace lives up to its name; not only does it have a red facade, but many of its interiors are dominated by red, at least on the 5th and 6th floors. Namely, I began my examination with them. Even the twisted staircase has red carpeting. The official name is Palazzo Rosso, built in 1671-1677 according to the design of local architect Pietro Antonio Carradi. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the palace continued to be decorated and decorated, including frescoes of the main hall and adjacent rooms. In the 18th century, the architect Francesco Cantone created a beautiful red façade. The palace was privately owned until 1874, then it was donated to the city. Along with Palazzo Bianco and Palazzo Doria Tursi (they are located opposite), the palace is part of the Strada Nuova museum complex on Via Garibaldi. That is, you buy a single ticket, on which marks are placed about visiting a particular museum. Above the main entrance, notice the marble bas-relief of the coat of arms of the Brignole Sale family, who owned the palazzo. The palace houses a collection of works of art that once belonged to this family. There are luxurious antique furniture, paintings, tapestries, and sculptures. You can see works by Durer, Gerard David, Veronese. In 2006, the building was listed as a UNESCO historical heritage site. I climbed up to the Red Palace from below, from the sea, and accidentally ended up on the red light street, it is located literally two blocks from the palace. More precisely, this is not even a street, but a narrow alley of red lights. There, on a bright day, without hiding or being embarrassed, the “priestesses of love” stand in very revealing outfits and in erotic poses. You can't confuse them with anyone. Time to visit the palace is November 2022.

The Palazzo Rosso in Genoa is an elegant historic building located in the heart of the city center, along Via Garibaldi. Built in the 17th century, it is one of the most significant examples of Genoese baroque architecture. The palace takes its name from the color of its facades and is famous for its richly decorated interiors, which include frescoes, stuccoes and period furnishings. Today it houses part of the Strada Nuova Museums and a vast collection of works of art, including paintings by masters such as Van Dyck and Rubens.
