Seen only from the outside on a group trip on 04/05/2025. It is part of the Rolli group. Built between 1671 and 1677 by order of the Brignole Sale brothers based on a design by the Genoese architect Corradi who re-proposes the U-shaped plan already adopted by the latter for the contemporary Balbi Senarega palace.

In Palazzo Rosso (house-museum) you can admire the charm of a 17th-century residence. The rooms richly decorated with frescoes and stuccowork house rich collections of works of art and antique furniture from the Brignole-Sale family. Palazzo Rosso is the first of three museums on the museum route connecting three UNESCO World Heritage buildings. The other two are Palazzo Bianco and Palazzo Doria-Tursi, which are located nearby. At the ticket office, you can buy one ticket to visit these three museums, or a Genova Museum Card (24h €15, 48h €25 - add €1 via the website), with which you can also visit other museums and facilities in the city and use public transport.

A single museum that includes three palaces: Palazzo Rosso, Bianco and Tursi. In 2004, the three historic buildings were connected by a single hiking trail. Thus, no matter which one you buy a ticket for, you can visit all three palaces with it. The museums are part of the Unesco world heritage and the Rolli system. It contains countless paintings.

Wonderful collection of arts! And the garden inside is really lovely.

Definitely worth a visit. At the beginning we were a bit irritated because we only wanted to visit the Palazzo Rosso and found out at the ticket office that there is no single ticket for the Palazzo, but only a combined ticket for three palazzi (Rosso, Bianco and Tursi). Since we were already late that day and the palazzi had to be visited in one day, we came back the next day and didn't regret it. The Palazzo Rosso is full of surprises: picture gallery, small, magically furnished rooms, the former apartments of the owners and the museum director invite you to discover them. Our absolute highlight was the very last room in the Tursi Museum (which we almost missed). Paganini's original violin is kept there.

Very interesting: worth a visit

One of the recommended check-in attractions. There is a security guard standing at the door. You can go directly inside to take photos and check in, or you can go up to the second floor to browse. This historic building has now become a conference space that can be rented for events and forums, so it is a very interesting architectural space!

Mentelocale è una grande catena italiana con tanti locali in varie città italiane. Generalmente o prendo i caffè al banco oppure vado a pranzo dove si ha una vasta scelta di primi secondi e dolci e tra i primi il pesto di loro produzione è buonissimo quindi consiglio di prendere gnocchi al pesto lasagne al pesto e come secondi la carne e specialmente hamburger. Anche i dolci sono buoni. Il personale fa servizio al tavolo solo a pranzo. Se si prende un caffè bisogna prima pagare prendere un vassoio e sedersi in uno dei vari tavoli. In questo bar è possibile fare colazione con una vasta scelta di dolce e salato e con succhi spremute e anche pranzare e aperitivo alla sera. Il personale è veramente la colonna portante del bar: personale numeroso molto giovane accogliente sorridente competente professionale affabile adorabile generoso cordiale e disponibile. Quando entrate al bar vi sentirete subito a vostro agio come se si entrasse in una grande famiglia e potete contare sul personale per ogni necessità. I prezzi sono veramente buoni e competitivi!! Mentelocale is a large Italian chain with many locations in various Italian cities. Generally I either have coffees at the counter or I go for lunch where there is a wide choice of first courses, second courses and desserts and among the first courses their pesto is very good so I recommend taking gnocchi with pesto lasagna with pesto and for second courses meat and especially hamburgers. The desserts are also good. The staff only serves at the table at lunch. If you have a coffee you must first pay, take a tray and sit at one of the various tables. In this bar you can have breakfast with a wide choice of sweet and savory and with squeezed juices and also have lunch and an aperitif in the evening. The staff is truly the backbone of the bar: numerous staff very young welcoming smiling competent professional affable adorable generous friendly and helpful. When you enter the bar you will immediately feel at ease as if you were entering a big family and you can count on the staff for every need. The prices are really good and competitive!!
