Asterix's Village, Sardinian Version We hesitated for a long time before booking a stay at this slightly "different" hotel, but what a wonderful surprise! A warm and friendly welcome, independent, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped huts (rooms and bathrooms), a good breakfast, and amazing outdoor spaces full of little surprises. An unforgettable experience, a must-see! Easy access from Orosei, private parking guaranteed. The restaurant is closed in September.

The unique room is very special

An experience as unexpected as it was idyllic. As typical, unique, and wonderful as the place is, what made our stay unforgettable was the presence of Rita, Franca, and Sara (along with Nocciolino, Turchese, and their other four-legged friends). A place for those who want to enjoy tranquility, nature, and a sense of home. A place to recharge your batteries and completely disconnect from the city. Words don't do it justice; you have to go there to experience it.

We stayed for two days and I have to say everything was spectacular: the rooms and spaces were very welcoming and unique. The staff were very kind and polite, not to mention the fantastic food. It was an experience worth repeating.

We stayed in this beautiful and characteristic hotel for one night. The location is truly evocative and one-of-a-kind. You get the experience of sleeping in a true Sardinian home from the past. The rooms are cozy, but unfortunately, they have a limited supply of soap (which is essential in the hot Sardinian summer). We were welcomed and then entertained by the family who runs the hotel, all extremely kind and helpful. So, I'd say the stay is highly recommended (and very reasonably priced, too). The only downside is the restaurant. The hotel also has a restaurant (almost mandatory given the distance from the town center). While it's good and uses traditional products, it's incredibly expensive for a truly "home" cuisine. We chose three appetizers (a sliced tomato with cheese cubes on top, a plate of carasau bread soaked in oil and parmesan, and a cold cuts platter with 6 pieces of cheese, a plate of maloreddus with ragù and a small bowl of eggplant in sauce, a seada, two jugs of water, 1/2 a glass of house white wine and a small glass of myrtle) for the modest sum of 90 euros! The bill wasn't a surprise because everything is clearly stated on the menu, but we were surprised by the price compared to the simplicity of the dishes, despite the splendid location. One piece of advice I can give to the managers would be to not so much consider customers with alternative dietary choices—vegetarian (I wouldn't dare, since the place is called "Ovile")—but at least specify on the menu that where it says "sauce," it's ragù, and where it says "ricotta ravioli," it's always served with meat sauce. When choosing a place, I always check the menu online, and in this case, we might not have chosen it.

If you want an experience, we recommend this place. A break from the chaos of everyday life. Well-maintained and impeccably managed. Excellent food. A 4-minute drive takes you to the center of Orosei. Average prices. We'll be back.

What can I say? Excellent dinner and super hospitality. A spectacular view surrounded by nature. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. A truly excellent place. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere is suggestive and welcoming, perfect for getting away from the routine and enjoying a bit of tranquility. The structure is cared for in detail and you can perceive a great attention to hospitality. I immediately felt at ease, thanks also to the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I highly recommend this place to those looking for an authentic experience, immersed in the charm of the territory. I hope to return soon!
