Piacenza cuisine with top products is offered in a rustic but modern context, where the helpfulness of the staff makes you feel truly at home. 1 hour and a half drive to get there... and it's worth every penny, also considering that the road to get there runs through a breathtaking landscape.
And so after a nice meal you can leave the car nearby for a regenerating walk in the beauty of the surrounding hills.
We will return to try other dishes, but the ganassino I had was superb!

La cucina piacentina con prodotti top viene offerta in un contesto rustico ma moderno, dove la disponibilità dello staff ti fa sentire veramente a casa. 1 ora e mezza di strada per arrivarci.. e li vale tutti, considerando anche che la strada per arrivarci percorre un paesaggio mozzafiato.
E quindi dopo una bella mangiata si può abbandonare la macchina nelle vicinanze per una passeggiata rigenerante nelle bellezze delle colline dei dintorni.
Ci torneremo per provare altri piatti, ma il ganassino che ho preso è stato superlativo!

First of all the premises because they still have the flavor of the past. Stone and wood play a dominant role. The restoration is not a given, everything is thought out down to the smallest detail to fix the memories in the furnishings. The menu is rich and the food is of excellent quality. I focus on the cured meats with fried whole wheat cake, light and non-greasy. I highlight the delicious pisarei made according to the ancient medieval recipe. Love and care are the basis of the choice of dishes. The wine does not disappoint. I will return and return, too much still to discover and taste. Finally, we are in Morfasso in the splendid valley where Monte Lama, Monte Menegora and Monte Santa Franca stand out. Close to our Monte Moria Provincial Park.

I was in this Osteria on Sunday 20 October, found by chance on Google Maps the day before. Thanks to the rainy atmosphere of that day, the splendid autumn colors of the nearby Monte Moria park... the fact is that I found a warm, welcoming, homemade, splendid environment. A place that is a little gem, where you eat divinely well and are pampered by the very kind staff. The food is really good, cooked with care. The fried gnocco is excellent, not at all greasy, as I don't like fried food too much! I'll be back. I recommend it... go there!

5 star Sunday lunch.
First of all, the beauty of the restaurant with the stove that enhances the environment.
Starters: tasting of various types of cheeses and breech dish with an amazing brioche bread.
3 first courses including handmade pisarei and faso and original version sauce.
As a treat, wonderfully good raw porcini mushrooms.
Excellent desserts.
Bottle of local white wine.
Price 100 euros.
Absolutely recommended also for those who have children both for the kindness of the staff and for the playground outside.
