Good food and great service. Nice variety of wine

One of our Sardinia highlights. We haven't had better food or better service anywhere else in our two weeks. All courses were fantastic, with attentive service from two very nice young ladies. A small but fine wine selection and more than fair prices. Highly recommended!

We discovered Osteria Vineria Cibus while passing through Santadi, and it turned out to be one of the most authentic meals of our trip. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived, but quickly filled with locals which is always a good sign. The atmosphere is warm, with a focus on honest, local cooking. Communication was a mix of gestures, smiles, and bits of Italian, but the service was welcoming throughout. I ordered a local fish steak cooked simply with ripe cherry tomatoes, followed by a crisp green salad, while my wife had fresh culurgiones. We shared a bottle of Vermentino that paired perfectly with the meal. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and deeply tied to the region. What stood out most was how the room gradually transformed from empty to lively, full of neighbors greeting each other and enjoying long lunches together. If you find yourself in the Sulcis area, Osteria Vineria Cibus is well worth a stop. It’s the sort of restaurant that rewards curiosity with simple, heartfelt Sardinian cooking and genuine hospitality.

A charming place, with seafood and meat dishes showcasing the quality ingredients of Sardinian cuisine, and a very friendly and welcoming staff: what more could you ask for? Oh yes, the Vermentino!!! That's also excellent. The kitchen is open to the public because there's nothing to hide. If I lived in the area, this would be a must-visit.

Beautiful random discoveries, a lovely place, rustic yet elegant, with attention to detail. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and the food is excellent, with generous portions we're not used to anymore. The quality/price ratio is definitely excellent, we'll be back!

Locale ben curato e pulito, facile da trovare e con parcheggi nelle immediate vicinanze. Abbiamo mangiato piatti sella tradizione sarda di alta qualità e ben presenti. Personale attento e gentile. Lo consiglio vivamente per assaggiare la vera Sardegna! Ci torneremo sicuramente!
