Had lunch with a colleague and we really enjoyed the second course (Boiled meat with green sauce and pearà) sweet water and coffee €30: excellent service, excellent cuisine, fair price, comfortable environment. I will definitely go back also because I absolutely have to try the other dishes

Rustic place, in line with the rural style of the area. Excellent place that offers typical traditional dishes and has managed to combine tradition and innovation! The venison-based dishes are excellent. The staff is really friendly. I will go back and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try a traditional place. PS: greetings to Giulia, who I didn't have time to greet 😉

L' attuale gestione ha portato "ARIA NUOVA" a questo locale storico della cucina Mantovana! Risotto con le quaglie, lumache, trippa ecc! Ho provato un tagliere di salumi classici tutti molto buoni! Nota di merito per il salame casalino!!! Ma soprattutto dei maccheroncini con stracotto super!! Belli caldi, cottura perfetta e ben conditi (praticamente era un primo e secondo nello stesso piatto). Si può mangiare anche all'aperto e i prezzi sono perfettamente in linea con la qualità dei piatti. Non mancano gentilezza e cortesia!! Da ritornare!!!

31/01/2025: While staying in Mantua I found this restaurant on thefork, I was satisfied. It has a typical cuisine with some Sicilian additions. We had macaroni with beef stew, pork belly and a caponata with side dishes and a Belgian Mantuan pudding for dessert Both the pasta and the belly were really great, the belly really cooked to perfection. I liked the caponata even though I'm not a fan I tasted the Belgian pudding since it is a typical dish of the area even though I am not a fan of puddings in general. It seemed well made but it wasn't particularly to my taste, I found it a little bitter and I expected it to be sweeter as there was caramel in it, however I have no yardstick for comparison The location is beautiful, a sort of ancient villa in the heart of Mantua Correct prices considering everything
26/01/2025: We had lunch here, the food is really good and the atmosphere is great. Definitely recommend!
