I went with my son. He always makes reservations for me, and I have to say, it was an excellent choice. The welcome was very friendly, making us feel at ease right away. The food was excellent, with top-quality meat. I'm often in Florence, and as a restaurant, it's on par with those in Tuscany. I highly recommend it.

I had dinner with a friend and we were thrilled! A true discovery for those who love authentic Tuscan cuisine: authentic dishes, rich in flavor, and prepared with great care. We tried both first and second courses, all truly excellent, but the tagliata deserves a special mention—simply out of this world! The service is excellent, attentive, and never intrusive. The owners, Laura and Alberto, are two wonderful people: extremely kind, friendly, and passionate about what they do. You can feel their love for tradition and hospitality in every detail. A place I recommend without hesitation: the food is excellent, you feel at home, and you experience true Tuscany at the table! 🍷✨

A room with a small number of seats that allows you to spend some wonderful moments, tasting very well cooked and served dishes. They welcomed us very well and were present and attentive in fulfilling our requests. The proposals are not very many, but this is an indication of the care in preparing the food which is truly excellent. A place to try if you have not been there yet

Very clean place, with a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The host, Mr. Alberto, is very kind and friendly, and Mrs. Laura's cooking was exquisite. We'll definitely be back. The Florentine steak was excellent, the first courses were delicious, and the desserts were excellent too. Highly recommended.

03/11/2025: Personally, I didn't like the cured meats; they weren't fresh and of average-to-low quality. The cheeses were standard, nothing more, nothing less. The meat was okay. Service: They didn't pay much attention to the table despite there being three tables at the time of service. However, the two young men were very kind and polite. The location is what it is: a rustic, welcoming place. Worth a try, but not a repeat.
31/10/2025: Everything ok except for a jarring note....the price of the side dishes was 8 euros...never seen this anywhere else in the world!!

14/11/2023: Ma ha chiesto il ristorante???chiedo perché non risulta da nessuna parte se non sui siti dove si lasciano recensioni come questo
29/09/2023: Si trova nel paesino di Cergnago, in posizione periferica ( il ristorante è ben segnalato). Si posteggia lungo la via oppure un centinaio di metri prima, in una piazzetta. Come antipasto vengono proposti anche taglieri o un "mix" ( consigliato così assaggerete un po' di tutto...strepitosa la trippa....). I primi piatti proposti sono pici e pappardelle, con diversi sughi abbinati, ma la regina del menù è sicuramente la costata... Potrete scegliere peso e tipo ed abbinarla anche a filetto e controfiletto. Diverse le proposte per i dolci ( anche se noi, esagerando abbiamo terminato, sostituendo ai dolci, una porzione di lampredotto!!!). Buona anche la proposta dei vini. Il servizio è gestito con cortesia e simpatia ed i prezzi sono corretti. Il locale non è molto grande, quindi consiglio sempre di prenotare.
