Osteria Siciliando In Marsala

The menu was very varied, including the wine list. The dishes we chose were both pleasing in presentation and taste. For four of us, including an excellent bottle of wine, we spent €170. The owner was extremely kind and very precise in her recommendations. We felt pampered. We will definitely be back.

We found this place by chance on Google Maps and were surprised by the quality of the food; everything we ordered was exquisite, and the service was very friendly. It's located right in the city center. We would definitely return; highly recommended.

I don't usually leave reviews unless it's truly worth it. This is the case with Osteria Siciliando. We were greeted with extreme warmth, and were shown the menu and off-menu options (a good variety of meat, fish, and vegetarian options, depending on seasonal availability). We chose the tonnara platter as an appetizer, consisting of various types of tuna and bottarga cured meats, exquisite and very unique. The fish-based first courses were equally delicious: spaghetti with octopus ragù and calamarata with grouper, shrimp, and eggplant; generous portions and high-quality ingredients (the amount of fish and seafood in the pasta was also generous, unlike many other restaurants). For the main course, we chose stuffed squid in squid ink, accompanied by a glass of dry Gibelè zibibbo, all for about €45 per person. It's definitely one of the best restaurants I've recently tried, given the excellent combinations and quality of the ingredients, as well as the preparation and kindness of the staff.

The atmosphere is refined and welcoming. I went for dinner and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The dishes are excellent, with great attention to detail and presentation from the chef. It was a very positive experience, and I think I'll be back.

With considerable trepidation, after a truly awful lunch experience at another osteria that I'm deliberately not mentioning here, but which I've reviewed, we decided to stop because the smell was wafting in from outside. We waited for the second sitting, taking the opportunity to stroll through the center of Marsala and enjoy a delicious aperitivo. With that preamble, let's get down to business! The place is very well-kept and clean, the staff is friendly and always smiling, the owner is courteous and very attentive to her customers, and our compliments go to the chef. The ingredients are excellent. The grouper ravioli in broth are a delight for the taste buds! The spaghetti with red shrimp and the cod bites in chickpea flour are also worthy of mention. Everything was so commendable that we returned for lunch on November 2, 2025. I was actually craving the lobster busiate after the flop the day before, and this time we hit the mark and... listen up... it really tasted like lobster, with well-balanced flavors. We also ordered other dishes, but I'll leave the discovery to you. Value for money 10/10. If we return next year for another soccer tournament, we'll definitely come back. Thank you.

Highly recommended! We had a delicious trio of seafood bruschetta, a tuna platter, and spaghetti corallo with red shrimp tartare. What can I say... everything was exceptional!

This restaurant is truly a pleasant surprise, with a very pleasant location and excellent service. The raw seafood and appetizers are noteworthy, with excellent raw materials. The first courses are good. Congratulations!!
