A simple, rural ambiance. The host, with a never-ending stream of words full of sympathy, regardless of the fact that we didn't understand a word. The white wine on tap, a sparkling wine, was drinkable and fresh. Be careful, after a few glasses, your way home could be jeopardized. After a short time, the most important men of the village had gathered around us and made it clear to us that we had landed in the best osteria in the entire region. The food was delicious, the table was beautifully set, with a cloth tablecloth and napkins, and the chef was attentive.

Aside from the cold lighting, which I'm not particularly fond of, the restaurant is very nice. The staff is very kind. The real surprise is the food. I haven't eaten this well in years. I definitely want to return!

A typical "lower" tavern, perhaps a bit too much like an "osteria": minimal menu, decent food quality, inconsistent service, and prices that aren't exactly those of a tavern... They don't have decaf coffee!!! An acceptable solution, only in the absence of better options. Recommended by the tour operators at Chignolo Po Castle, a few kilometers away.
