Excellent experience, I recommend this restaurant, excellent value for money.

Local restaurant, the food is delicious, I loved the roasted rabbit with potatoes.

Our first osteria in Tuscany. Very good food and a fresh house wine. I highly recommend the desserts, especially the homemade tiramisu.

The restaurant opens at 1pm, we waited an hour because we arrived at 12 but it's 1.51pm and we're already out so the service is very fast and the dishes are really good, only the piece of pork was a little too fatty but that can happen, I gave the atmosphere 4 stars only because I suffer with my back and the chairs were too uncomfortable for me, but for the rest it's perfect, I highly recommend it

This unassuming osteria, with family members cooking up a storm and arguably the friendliest and funniest waiter we’ve ever had - Erico, this one’s for you :) - was like a home from home for us, during our Easter stay in the tiny village of San Vivaldo. In fact, it’s lucky that we loved this place so much because it’s the only restaurant in the village, but we ate here several times and would come back again, even if we were staying on the other side of Tuscany. The pastas were superb (including the dishes with freshly made pasta), the meats (local rabbit, rooster etc.) were lovely, and my personal favourite was a delicious, fresh vegetable minestrone with spring greens. The ragu’ was superb. The beans (cannellini I think) “all’uccelletto” was outstanding. Roast potatoes out of this world. Puddings like tiramisu’, chocolate cake and others were home made and gorgeous. The warm welcome we received when Carla & co. saw us arrive made us feel like special customers. 🇬🇱 Osteria San Vivaldo – the service was excellent, especially the Polish woman working there, who was very friendly. We enjoyed the house red wine, though it's a shame it wasn't served chilled. Unfortunately, the food itself was very average. The lasagna was tiny and tasteless, the pasta with ragù was ordinary (hard to mess up, but nothing exceptional either). The wild boar goulash with olives was average, 3/5. The best dish was the grilled lamb – really good. For dessert, the tiramisu was delicious. Prices are normal, with a coperto of €2 (with three children, it's €10, plus water). Excellent Osteria where you can experience the flavors of Tuscany. The onion soup is delicious, and the grilled meat is exceptional. I didn't order the pasta, but I saw that many of the guests were very satisfied. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Really lovely traditional Italian restaurant. Lovely food, calm and peaceful atmosphere. Will be going back.

I've been eating here for 15 years and cannot overstate how excellent and satisfying the home cooking is in this osteria. It's also great value. You will not be disappointed, which is why it is full of locals for lunch and dinner. If you are in the area, make a point of going. You will not be disappointed.
