A typical Tuscan restaurant, without frills, where the real added value is the authenticity of the food and the simplicity of the people. We were greeted very pleasantly, with a warm smile and a lot of spontaneity. The owner's courtesy is noteworthy, as is the food. The downsides were the wait time between the appetizer and the main course (20 minutes) and the lack of parking. It's still a great place. I recommend visiting if you're in the area and want to enjoy authentic Tuscan cuisine.

We had a truly enjoyable lunch at Osteria San Vivaldo. We started with an excellent wild boar carpaccio, tender and flavorful, followed by rich and well-seasoned pappardelle with wild boar ragù, and a delicious sliced ​​steak. Excellent quality and generous portions. The atmosphere is authentic, like that of a trattoria: familiar, rustic, and welcoming. The way the dishes are served is also beautiful, placed in the center of the table so everyone can help themselves convivially. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, making the experience even more satisfying. A place where you eat well and truly feel at home. Highly recommended!

Although there have been some negative reviews about the portion sizes and service, the pasta was just the right amount, the meat was rather generous and, above all, delicious, and the service was very friendly, with a smile on their face.
25/01/2026: An excellent restaurant for those seeking traditional cuisine, a favorite among Florentines. We dined at this superb restaurant twice during our week in Florence, slightly removed from the historic center and in the company of exclusively Italians. A fantastic menu, with expertly prepared dishes (from pasta to meat to traditional soup). Attentive service, a chef who connects with the customers, checking in to see if they are enjoying their meal. A must-try! Thank you to the team and the kitchen for their expertise.
