A typical Tuscan restaurant, without frills, where the real added value is the authenticity of the food and the simplicity of the people. We were greeted very pleasantly, with a warm smile and a lot of spontaneity. The owner's courtesy is noteworthy, as is the food. The downsides were the wait time between the appetizer and the main course (20 minutes) and the lack of parking. It's still a great place. I recommend visiting if you're in the area and want to enjoy authentic Tuscan cuisine.

Unfortunately we arrived late, the kitchen was closed and the service was finished. The tiramisu was good, the staff were very friendly.

We had a truly enjoyable lunch at Osteria San Vivaldo. We started with an excellent wild boar carpaccio, tender and flavorful, followed by rich and well-seasoned pappardelle with wild boar ragù, and a delicious sliced ​​steak. Excellent quality and generous portions. The atmosphere is authentic, like that of a trattoria: familiar, rustic, and welcoming. The way the dishes are served is also beautiful, placed in the center of the table so everyone can help themselves convivially. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, making the experience even more satisfying. A place where you eat well and truly feel at home. Highly recommended!

Our first osteria in Tuscany. Very good food and a fresh house wine. I highly recommend the desserts, especially the homemade tiramisu.

The restaurant opens at 1pm, we waited an hour because we arrived at 12 but it's 1.51pm and we're already out so the service is very fast and the dishes are really good, only the piece of pork was a little too fatty but that can happen, I gave the atmosphere 4 stars only because I suffer with my back and the chairs were too uncomfortable for me, but for the rest it's perfect, I highly recommend it

This unassuming osteria, with family members cooking up a storm and arguably the friendliest and funniest waiter we’ve ever had - Erico, this one’s for you :) - was like a home from home for us, during our Easter stay in the tiny village of San Vivaldo. In fact, it’s lucky that we loved this place so much because it’s the only restaurant in the village, but we ate here several times and would come back again, even if we were staying on the other side of Tuscany. The pastas were superb (including the dishes with freshly made pasta), the meats (local rabbit, rooster etc.) were lovely, and my personal favourite was a delicious, fresh vegetable minestrone with spring greens. The ragu’ was superb. The beans (cannellini I think) “all’uccelletto” was outstanding. Roast potatoes out of this world. Puddings like tiramisu’, chocolate cake and others were home made and gorgeous. The warm welcome we received when Carla & co. saw us arrive made us feel like special customers.
